ANG IMPEACHMENT NI VP SARA AY BOSES NG PILIPINO

Ayon kay Rep. Ace Barbers ang impeachment na natanggap ni VP Sara ay hindi boto o pirma mula sa mga kongresista kundi ito ay ang boses ng bawat Pilipino na kanilang nirerepresenta.

Hindi po namin kailangan ng ayuda kaya pakiusap ibalik mo na sa Romualdez ang ayuda na kapalit ng perma mo.

In the promises to significantly improve transportation and commerce in Madridejos, Bantayan Island, Governor Gwen Garcia led the ceremonial groundbreaking for the concreting and improvement of the Barangay Pili and Barangay Kaongkod road section. The event took place in the Municipality of Madridejos, February 6, Thursday.

Governor Garcia was joined by Madridejos Mayor Romeo Villaceran, Vice Mayor Vincent Villacrusis, Ako Bisaya Second Nominee Ms. Carissa Garcia, Board Member Glen Soco, and Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu District Collector Atty. Geoffrey De Vera IV.

The project, which has a net length of 3.1927 kilometers, will widen the road to 6.1 meters and apply a 23-centimeter thickness to ensure durability. With a total cost of P50,319,891.89, the roadwork aims to ease the transportation of goods, especially crucial for local residents who depend on the road to bring products like dried and fresh-caught fish to the market.

Mayor Romeo Villaceran expressed his gratitude, saying, “Daghang Salamat, Governor Gwen, ining imong proyekto nga makabenepisyo gyud sa mga residente sa Madridejos,” highlighting the importance of the project for the community.

Governor Garcia, in her speech, shared a heartfelt message: “Ang gugma nga nagagikan kaninyo, ako kanang baslan sa gugma sa akong kasing-kasing,” emphasizing the deep connection and dedication she feels towards the people of Madridejos.

This road improvement project is expected to boost economic activity and significantly benefit the local community, making it easier for residents to transport goods and access markets more efficiently.

Madridejos Mayor Romeo Villaceran welcomes Gov. Gwen Garcia as she arrives safe and sound at the Bantayan Island Airport for the Caravan of Government Services in the island.

Accompanying her on this trip are Board Member Glenn Soco; BOC Cebu District Collector Atty. Felipe De Vera, and Ako Bisaya Partylist second nominee, Carissa Garcia.

The chopper is provided for free by Ako Bisaya Partylist Cong. Sonny "SL" Lagon. No Capitol funds were spent for its use.
