Five (5) Hail Marys as a simple Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Meditate upon the Five (5) Sins against Her Immaculate Heart and offer Her the Five (5) Hail Marys as a simple act of reparation for the sins against Her Immaculate Heart.

"My daughter, the motive is simple: there are five ways in which people offend and blaspheme against the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

(1) Blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception.

(2) Blasphemies against her Perpetual Virginity.

(3) Blasphemies against her Divine Maternity and at the same time the refusal to recognize her as the Mother of all mankind,

Did you know that Our Lady promised seven extraordinary graces to those devoted to her Seven Sorrows?

The Sorrows of Our Lady are seven particular sufferings that she endured in her life:

1. The prophecy of Simeon

Devotion to Our Lady’s Sorrows has existed since the early centuries of the Church. It came into particular focus in the 13th century when Our Lady appeared to the Seven Founders of the Servite Order, giving them a black garment as their habit and asking them to meditate on her Sorrows.

In the 14th century, Our Lady revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden seven special graces that she would grant to those devoted to her Sorrows.

You can expand your devotion with the Chaplet of the Seven Sorrows, a prayer of the Servite Order, which consists of seven Hail Marys for each of the Seven Sorrows.

Our Lord requested Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre to establish the Archconfraternity of the Holy Face to make reparation for the sin of blasphemy. “You cannot comprehend the malice of this sin,” the novice reported Our Lord saying. “Were my Justice not restrained by my Mercy, it would instantly crush the guilty. All creatures, even those that are inanimate, would avenge My outraged honor, but I have an eternity in which to punish them…. Woe to those cities that will not make this reparation.”

Also, “Our Lord showed me this Association as an Army of brave soldiers, uniting themselves to Jesus as their Commander-in-Chief, to defend the glory of His Father. It is His Will that this militia be called ‘The Defenders of the Holy Name of God,’ so that this noble title should give evidence of the high calling of those enrolled.”

Finally, “Our Lord told me that He desired each member to wear a special Protection Cross. To all those wearing this Holy Cross, Our Lord promised a special resourcefulness to conquer the demon of blasphemy. I then felt that I would willingly shed the last drop of my blood for such a holy association.”

Our Lord told Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre on March 16, 1844, "Oh, if you only knew what great merit you acquire by saying even once, in the spirit of reparation of blasphemy: ADMIRABLE IS THE HOLY NAME OF GOD!”

Promises of Our Lord Jesus Christ to Those Devoted to His Holy Face:

1. I will grant them contrition so perfect, that their very sins shall be changed in My sight into jewels of precious gold.

2. None of these persons shall ever be separated from Me.

3. In offering My Face to My Father, they will appease His anger and they will purchase as with celestial coin, pardon for poor sinners. I will open My Mouth to plead with My Father to grant all the petitions that they will present to Me.

4. I will illuminate them with My light. I will consume them with My love, and I will render them fruitful of good works.

5. They will, as the pious Veronica, wipe My adorable Face outraged by sin, and I will imprint My divine Features in their souls.

6. At their death, I will renew in them the image of God effaced by sin.

7. By resemblance to My Face, they will shine more than many others in eternal life and the brilliancy of My Face will fill them with joy.

These promises are drawn from the works of Saint Gertrude, of Saint Mechtilde and from the writings of Sister Maria de Saint Pierre, a Carmelite who died at Tours in the odour of sanctity.
