Hindi kana naman nakatulog sa tamang oras or even you are experiencing insomnia. But do you know that an adult person needs seven to eight hours of sleep consistently? And without sleep, we can get sick, mentally ill, or even die. Anxiety steals our capacity to rest. When we are exhausted from thinking and worrying, our thoughts keep us wide awake and stop us from being at peace, But here's the deal: kailangan natin magpahinga. Isn't it interesting that God made us creatures that need resting? It's not optional to us; we need it. We need sleep every single day of our lives, but the One who sustains us does not. And you know what happens while we sleep? God sustains us. He keeps on working while we're resting.

This is the amazing reality that we should be reminded of every single day. We are not God, and even if you try to pull an all-nighter and stay up, at some point you need to lay down and go to sleep. So I want you to be reminded that whatever it is that is keeping you awake at night is the very thing you have to give to Him. Every evening you can turn your worries over to Him. He is always awake for your sake.

I pray that you choose to remember His gentle and compassionate love and never forget His power and majesty. Choose to trust in His sovereignty and rest in His promises of faithfulness. Remember the Cross and the sacrifice He gave to make you His child and show you His perfect love. He strongly said, "It is already finished."

This is the God who is with you, watches over you, and takes care of you. Because He never sleeps, you can sleep with stillness for He holds you through the night, and you may rest in His peace for His love never fails.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber, indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."

I'm grateful for both the affirmations and rejections, and for the understanding that I don't need to live up to everyone's expectations. I now recognize that I'm an ongoing project, evolving at my own speed, regardless of how delayed or slow it may appear.

I appreciate the healing of the turmoil and pain I once denied, for the prayers that were answered, and for the challenges I've encountered. He was there during the times of waiting, the detours, and the transitional moments.

I'm thankful for the people He introduced into my life to motivate me, guide me, educate me, and reach out to me. I'm grateful for the silent victories achieved through prayer, for the abundant grace that continues to uphold me, and above all, for the love I received when I felt unlovable, and for being discovered when I was lost.
