NCL fleet expands rapidity over these 20+ years with individual colourful hull art painted in all her ships.

A total of 23 ships (including 4 on order to build) are divided into among seven different classes of the Sun, Dawn, Jewel, Breakaway, Breakaway-Plus, Prima and the latest series Prima-Plus.

Norwegian Epic (Epic-class), Pride of America (the only U.S. flagged cruise ship) and Norwegian Spirit (Leo-class) are the only individual exception ships to be in their own classes.

Scheduled to debut in April 2025, sailing Caribbean voyages from Port Canaveral in Florida, the 156,300 tons 'NORWEGIAN AQUA' is the next generation of Prima class to classify as Prima Plus which is more bigger and is designed to become one of the World's mega family-friendly fun ship where she will premiere the world's first hybrid rollercoaster and waterslide, the Aqua Slidecoaster.

The current biggest cruise ship operating in the NCL fleet is Norwegian Encore which is a Breakaway Plus-class at 169,116 tons (GT), and also the last ship of this class series.

Breakaway Plus is an upgraded version (sub-classes) of the original Breakaway-class built and designed by German ship builder, MEYER WERFT which is also owned by Resorts World Cruises currently chartered 'GENTING DREAM' and Aroya Cruises 'MANARA' (the former World Dream) which is sold to Cruise Saudi thru a court auction held in Singapore and being finalized in earlier February 2023.

Editor favourite is still the Breakaway-class.
