Baek Gang Hyeok is a genius trauma surgeon who has performed surgeries in conflict zones around the world. He is confident in his abilities and has a bulldozer-like personality when he thinks he is doing the right thing. He begins to work at a university hospital and leads the severe trauma team there. The severe trauma team is a double-edged sword for the university hospital. This is because as the severe trauma team saves more patients, the hospital goes further in the red financially.

Besides Baek Gang Hyeok, the severe trauma team consists of Yang Jae Won, nurse Cheon Jang Mi and anesthesiologist resident Park Gyeong Won. Yang Jae Won belonged to the proctological surgery department that is led by professor Han Yu Rim, but Yang Jae Won was scouted by Baek Gang Hyeok and joined his team. Yang Jae Won becomes Baek Gang Hyeok’s first pupil. Baek Gang Hyeok turns the severe trauma team from a nominal existence to a team that actually goes out into the field and saves lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, today is spring cleaning. Today is the day that I am taking inventory of what’s in my heart and if there are any idols that I've allowed to stay. Idols like jealousy, unforgiveness, people pleasing, and spiritual compromise I break at the altar of Your presence. I confess that when I am not in spiritual alignment I lose battles that You’ve already spoken victory over. However, the days of losing battles because of idols are gone! Lord, I know that You are not taken back by bold prayers, so like Hanna I will not be ashamed to lay before You and make my request known! Thank You Jesus, that because of Your sacrifice I can come boldly before the Lord in prayer and make the desires of my heart known to Him. As a child of God, living in alignment with my assignment, I thank You in advance for moving and working on my behalf to bring my purpose into focus. In the same way Hannah dedicated Samuel to do Your work, I will also dedicate and devote my gifts, my promotions and all opportunities to You because my focus is to bring You glory. Therefore, I will listen when You call me, like Samuel. I will say speak Lord, for Your servant is listening because I know that one word from You is worth a thousand elsewhere. With a heart of true devotion, I declare that no matter what hardships I face, like Ruth and Naomi, I will not leave Your side Lord. As Ruth committed her life to serving Naomi, I too have made the decision to follow You Lord and to serve You wholeheartedly. I will not approach my life’s purpose with mediocrity and small thinking, instead...
