On October 13, 2024, the Slow is Fast Running Community took on an inspiring mission—a 60km run from Lapu-Lapu City to Catmon, Cebu, to raise ₱60,000 for a worthy cause. This incredible journey was more than just a test of endurance; it was about providing hope and opportunity.
🏃♂️ The goal? To support the student-athletes of Coach Alex Loloy, equipping them with proper running shoes to pursue their dreams.
This video captures from it was an idea up to the last part that they successfully helped the athletes and Coach Alex. You will witness also the grit, determination, and community spirit that powered this initiative. From the runners' tireless efforts to the heartwarming generosity of supporters, every moment is a testament to the power of coming together for a cause.

Laurence Ganade and Slater Avila - Lapu-lapu Athletics Unit Meet 2024
This video is during the Lapu-lapu Athletics Unit Meet 2024 in MABES (Mactan Air Base Elementary School) Grounds, we highlight more on Slater Avila who is Grade 6 and barefoot runner, who grabbed the 1st place of 1500meters run event. Very inspiring kid, small but terrible kaayo.
Laurence Ganade grabbed the 1st place of 800m run event also, both of them are under the coaching of sir Coach Alex Loloy.
