After kicking off the Reading Month Celebration on November 13, the English and Filipino Departments pushed the school's second Book Character Parade on November 15.
The Literati Club (TLC) and Kamalayang Pilipino (KamPil) facilitated the first contest for the month ahead, led by masters of the ceremony Marinelle Lolo and Saab Alfinda.
Unlike last year, the themes Philippine Literature for Grade 7, Afro-Asian Literature for Grade 8, Anglo-American or Contemporary Literature for Grade 9, and World Literature or Greek Mythology for Grade 10 were set in place.
After circling the school grounds, the students proceeded to the school's covered court where one to three representatives per section introduced their characters onstage.

"Our primary objective is to not only cultivate a passion for exploring diverse literary genres but also to stimulate and encourage students to actively participate in multifaceted discussions surrounding literature," said TLC President Floval Valenzuela on the goal this reading month.
He added that by bringing book characters to life through costume is their way of bringing reading closer to the students.
Aside from the parade, the Junior High School Department's second Black Out Day will occur on November 16.
On November 21, TLC and KamPil will host the Pakikinig sa Maikling Kwento for Grades 7 and 8, and Oratorical Presentations for Grades 9 and 10.
In addition, the library will be open for Library Tours from November 23-24.
