With the kickoff of the Dinagyang Festival, our devoted tribe, Tribu Paghidaet, showcased their performance during the Pamukaw 2025 event. Their commitment to sharing the narrative of our cultural background through music, dance, and artistry fills us with excitement as we look forward to continuing our festival journey in 2025.

We would like to extend our congratulations to Tribu Paghidaet for a step-forward, with their dedication and commitment to represent our school.

Teatro Iwag dazzled the audience with their spectacular production, “𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧: 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧,”
held on December 13, 2024, at the LPNHS USWAG Gym. The event was a vibrant and successful celebration of talent and creativity. Alongside other Special Program for the Arts majors, Teatro Iwag showcased a dazzling performance that highlighted the spirit of oneness and togetherness.

On October 30, 2024, our distinguished teachers and school head received well-deserved recognition during the Bugal 2024 Awarding Ceremony held by the Schools Division of Iloilo City at the Iloilo Grand Hotel.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Salvador M. Besares, Principal IV, awarded as Outstanding School Head at the secondary level; Sir Paul J. Silva, Master Teacher II, awarded as Outstanding Master Teacher at the secondary level; and Ma'am Rutchel J. 𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆: 𝙇𝘼 𝙋𝘼𝙕 𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙃𝙄𝙂𝙃 𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇 𝙃𝙊𝙇𝘿𝙎 𝙁𝙄𝙍𝙎𝙏 𝙅𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙎𝙈 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙎𝙃𝙊𝙋

La Paz National High School's budding journalists gathered in the Junior High School Computer Laboratory on March 23, 2024, for the first-ever Journalism Workshop, aimed to refine the skills of the school's publication staff, comprising The Reflections and Ang Balangaw, dedicated to English and Filipino respectively.

Led by Miss Trixie M. Lao, the Officer-in-Charge of the English Department at Jalandoni Memorial National High School, and Adviser of Jalandonian Gazette, the workshop delved into the fundamentals of journalism, from the nuances of news writing to the artistry of feature composition.

This pioneering workshop marks a pivotal turning point for the school publications, providing a valuable platform for the learners to enhance their understanding of journalism fundamentals and develop practical skills essential for effective storytelling.

Also present during the workshop were the school publications’ advisers, Ms. Francis Lynn V. Tabiolo and Ms. Aileen G. Daprinal for The Reflections, Ms. Ruth Joy P. Defacto for Ang Balangaw, and Ma’am Anabelita M. Lao, head of Filipino department.

The participants, comprising passionate writers and aspiring reporters, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn.

A lively festivity of peace and devotion during Dinagyang 2024.

The spirit of peace, Paghidaet, permeates such a festive event on Sunday, January 28. La Paz National High School's tribe PAGHIDAET emerged victorious, securing 1st runner-up, after they performed an outstanding encapsulation of Panay's culture and traditions from rituals, courtship, and transition of faith, highlighting Ilonggo's steadfast devotion to Senior Sto. Niño.
