INITIAL MEETING HELD FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MRT-4 PROJECT

The Metro Rail Transit Line 4 (MRT-4) is a 15.56-kilometer railway mass transport system that will run from San Juan City in Metro Manila to Taytay in Rizal Province. It will reduce travel time from 1.5 hours to 27 minutes.

ILOILO -- Exempted ang mga residente sang Guimbal nga naga-trabaho sa Iloilo City nga indi magbalik sang travel declaration card kada adlaw.

Ini ang paathag ni Guimbal Municipal Health Officer Jay Dorin kasunod nga gin-implementar ini sang Setyembre 3 sa banwa.

Suno kay Dorin, pwede nga ibalik sang residente nga naga-trabaho sa siyudad ang card kada semana agud indi mabudlay sa ila.

May catchment area suno sa iya sa kada barangay sa diin makuha ang card sa mga magguwa sa ila balay kag ibalik ini kun magbalik na sa barangay.

Sa mga ma-bisita sa banwa, kinahanglan nila nga mag-fill out sa travel declaration card. Indi naman ini kinahanglan kun may idul-ong lang sa banwa, dugang pa ni Dorin.

Samtang ang mga deliveries naman, required sila nga mag-log sa mga establisyemento.

Gin-orient na suno sa iya ang mga barangay official, mga miyembro sang Municipal Health Emergency Response Team kag mga BHERTs may kaangtanan diri.

Ginpabutiyag naman ni Iloilo Provincial Administrator Atty. Suzette Mamon nga posible nga nagapanghugot lang ang LGU- Guimbal sa pag-implement sang Reverse Contact Tracing paagi sa pag-fill out sa travel declation card sa mga nagaguwa-sulod sa mga barangay sa banwa.

Suno kay Mamon, gintugyan ni Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., sa mga LGUs ang pag-implement sang reverse contact tracing. Kada LGUs suno sa iya may lain-lain nga stratehiya nga ginapatuman.

Madamo ang nag-react sa pila ka pagsulundan sa travel declaration card sang Guimbal lakip na ang "return immediately the travel card to your respective barangay officials upon return to the barangay" kag reminder nga "travel card is VALID only for ONE day."

Form of monitoring suno sa iya ang ginahimo sang Guimbal kag nagapati siya ginaproteksyunan lang sang banwa ang mga pumuluyo batuk sa COVID-19.

Matandaan nga halin sa Guimbal ang pinakauna nga kaso sang COVID-19 sa Panay.

531 NAGPOSITIBO SA 4,384 KA GINPAIDALUM SA MASS TESTING SA BACOLOD

Nagdangat sa 531 ang nagpositibo sa kapin 4,384 ka specimen nga nakolekta sa ginpatigayon nga mass testing a ciudad sang Bacolod sang nagligad nga semana.

Ang specimen nagalakip sang 1,589 samples nga ginpadala sa Cebu kag kapin 2,795 swab samples nga yara naman sa Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital sa Silay city.

Sa samples nga ginpadala sa Cebu, 212 diri ang positive samtang nagdangat naman sa 319 ang may positibo nga resulta halin sa Silay Provincial Hospital.

Madumduman nga ginpatigayon sa Bacolod City ang One-Time-Bigtime mass testing sang nagligad nga August 27, 28 kag 29 kadungan sa pagpatuman sang Timeout Weekend upod ang provincial government sang Negros Occidental.

Microsoft announced on Monday that it will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 beginning August 17, 2021, which means customers will be unable to connect to Microsoft 365 apps and services on IE 11.

Later this year, the Microsoft Teams web app will also end its IE 11 support starting November 30, 2020.

“While we know this change will be difficult for some customers, we believe that customers will get the most out of Microsoft 365 when using the new Microsoft Edge. We are committed to helping make this transition as smooth as possible,” Microsoft said.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Under Executive Order No. 183 dated August 17, 2020 issued by Gov. Arthur Defensor, the movement of returning LSIs and ROFs to the Province of Iloilo shall be subject to the following requirements:

a. Returning ROFs and LSIs shall be subject to RT-PCR Test, with the negative result released at least 3 before travel.

b. Medical Clearance Certification issued by the City/Municipality Health Office of origin stating that:

b.1 The LSI is neither a contact, suspect, probable or confirmed COVID-19 Positive case;

b.2 The LSI has completed a fourteen (14) day quarantine, based on the quarantine standards of the DOH; and

b.3 If the LSI was a confirmed COVID-19 Positive case, two (2) RT-PCR Tests have been conducted with negative results.

c.) Travel Authority issued by the Chief of Police of the City/Municipality of origin, or by a higher command.

d.) ROFs and LSIs shall be subject to a 14-day quarantine in a LGU facility upon arrival, or may opt to be quarantined in a commercial/tourism accommodation establishment at their own expense.

e.) The return of ROFs and LSIs shall be subject to coordination with, and acceptance of, either the Province or the Municipality of destination.

Note: The foregoing requirements shall only apply to ROFs who are travelling on their own, and are not transported by the Overseas Workers Welfare Authority (OWWA), and are hereby be treated as LSIs for purposes of travel requirements.

JUST IN (updated 10:48 a.m.): Phivolcs reported this morning that Kanlaon, Bulusan, Taal, and Mayon Volcanoes are under Alert Level 1, which means that abnormal activity has been recorded in all four volcanoes.

The advisory came just minutes before a magnitude 6.6 earthquake was recorded in Masbate, with tremors felt in parts of Negros Island.

This morning, Taal Volcano let off steam.
