𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗢𝗗𝗠, 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗟𝗕𝗕 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝗱𝘆𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Student gamers from Hugpong sang Ati-atihan, Manggahan, Dinagyang, and Binirayan battled for supremacy in the SHS Fest 2025: Panaysadyahan Esports Tournament, featuring intense matches of Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) held at the USA Pavilion.

In the MLBB Division, Hugpong sang Dinagyang claimed victory with their exceptional coordination that carried them through each round. Hugpong sang Manggahan secured second place, Hugpong sang Binirayan finished in third and Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan in fourth.

Meanwhile in CODM, Hugpong sang Binirayan showcased their sharp precision and quick reflexes that earned them the championship title. Hugpong sang Dinagyang came in second, Hugpong sang Manggahan placed in third, and Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan took fourth.

𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Senior High School Fest 2025 featured a dazzling display of fashion and creativity at the USA Gymnasium on October 9, 2025. The event, Panubli-on: Habi kag Handuraw, brought together talented students from different houses to exhibit their designs and models.

“This win means a lot to me and to my hugpong because we were able to showcase and represent the creative minds of our designers from Hugpong sang Dinagyang,” stated Yanna Angela Jaranilla of STEM 12-E, a model for the Androgynous Category.

𝗦𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝗗𝘂𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁

Cheers of overwhelming support fills the University of San Agustin Gymnasium as the SHS Fest 2025 Vocal Duo Pop: Duyog-Tingug unfolds.

Representing Hugpong sang Dinagyang, Lovely Pearl Tolosa and Klark Frederick Tolosa emerged as champions of the competition.

Securing the following awards were Xhyzy Ly Robide and Alexes Marie Tovillo from Hugpong sang Binirayan in second place, Eliza Ruth Gamay and Johanna Isobel Longno from Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan in third place, and Julliannah Claire Gotera and Yanisam Fatma M. Calandada of Hugpong sang Manggahan in fourth place.

The event highlights the unique vocal talents of seniors high school students, underscoring the Augustinian spirit.

𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Last October 9, 2025, participants showcased their creative Hiligaynon pieces in Tingug sang Paghilway, held at the USA Gymnasium.

Samantha Julienne Batir of Hugpong sang Dinagyang won first place, followed by Elaine Marie Togado of Hugpong sang Binirayan as second, and Clarisse Subong of Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan as third place

“I’m really happy I delivered my piece with confidence and emotion, especially using our Hiligaynon language to encourage our fellow Ilonggos to appreciate its richness,” Batir shared after her win.

The event ended with applause and appreciation of our local language and cultural identity.

𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗚𝘆𝗺

The Senior High School (SHS) Fest 2025 Day 2 kicked off with excitement on October 9, 2025, at the University of San Agustin Gym.

The SHS houses, namely Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan, Hugpong sang Manggahan, Hugpong sang Dinagyang, and Hugpong sang Binirayan, showcased their banners, followed by the much-anticipated Festival Dance Competition.

In the Banner-Making Competition, results were as follows:
• 1st Place: Hugpong sang Binirayan
• 2nd Place: Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan
• 3rd Place: Hugpong sang Dinagyang

Meanwhile, in the Festival Dance Competition, Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan stood out, sweeping both Minor Awards for Most Disciplined and Best in Choreography.

The Major Awards were announced as follows:
• 1st Place: Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan
• 2nd Place: Hugpong sang Binirayan
• 3rd Place: Hugpong sang Manggahan
• 4th Place: Hugpong sang Dinagyang

The day concluded with cheers and celebration, showcasing students' pride and unity through performance and artistry, marking a strong continuation of SHS Fest 2025.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | The sudden 7.6-magnitude earthquake that occurred in Davao has affected Iloilo City and halted the ongoing SHS FEST at the University of San Agustin. All students were instructed to evacuate to the field for safety.

𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Day 2 continues where the four houses are battling ahead in the semi-finals of basketball, volleyball, and football, both in Boys and Girls Categories.

Manggahan claimed victory against Ati-Atihan in Boys Basketball (50-34).

In volleyball, Dinagyang dominated both their matches against Manggahan, with boys team scoring 2-1 sets in 25-22 in the last round, and the girls team winning by default.

With all championships games set to take place today, the excitement continues to build and heat up the crowd, leaving everyone wondering who will take the trophy home.

The Senior High School Fest Debate 2025 concluded on October 9, 2025 at the CPMT lobby, with Hugpong sang Binirayan emerging as champion. The two-day Oxford-style debate showcased sharp thinking and confident speaking.

In the finals, Hugpong sang Binirayan debated against Hugpong sang Manggahan, presenting persuasive points and sharp reasoning.

Adjudicator Marro Galvez reminded the debaters, “You are not there to debate about their technicalities, but rather to present that this is your argument and it can be easily understood.”

The debate ended with a handshake among participants, highlighting the Augustinian values of unity and camaraderie.

- 1st Place: Hugpong sang Manggahan
- 2nd Place: Hugpong sang Dinagyang
- 3rd Place: Hugpong sang Ati-Atihan

𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆’𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲

The festive spirit continued to soar on the second day of the SHS Fest 2025 last October 9 as the four houses of the senior high school department showcased the vibrant cultures around Panay through the Paghiusa sa Kabanwahanan at the university gymnasium.

Living up to this year’s theme, PanaySadyahan, the event promoted cultural pride through performances inspired by each region’s well-known festivals.

First to perform was Ati-Atihan who captivated the audience with their performance inspired by the Aklanon tribe, followed by Manggahan who exhibited Guimaras' sweetness. Next, Dinagyang showcased Iloilo’s well-loved festival through enthusiastic expressions and beat, and lastly Binirayan of Antique closed the competition with a meaningful and vibrant performance.

At the end of the showcase, Hugpong Sang Ati-Atihan emerged as the overall champion, bagging First Place, along with the Most Disciplined and Best in Choreography awards.

Binirayan secured Second Place and the Best in Artistic Design award, followed by Manggahan in Third Place and Dinagyang in Fourth Place.

𝗔𝘁𝗶-𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

The SHS Fest 2025 Chess Tournament took place on October 8, 2025, at the SHS Library, with 12 participants from four houses competing in multiple rounds. Supervised by the SHS Local Government, the event aimed to promote critical thinking, sportsmanship, and strategic discipline among students.

Champion Franches Aldon of from Hugpong Sang Binirayan described the tournament as "nerve-wracking but rewarding." Winning alongside Shaun Claude Olivares. While Jathniel Paul Clavel claimed a championship representing Ati-Atihan.

The tournament concluded with Binirayan securing two championship titles and Ati-atihan one, setting a strong start for the SHS Fest 2025 competitions. This event showcased the students' strategic thinking and competitive spirit, highlighting the importance of chess in developing critical thinking skills.

𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | As Day 1 of PanaySadyahan 2025 comes to a close, four different houses swept the field and courts during the elimination rounds of basketball, volleyball and football competitions.

During the first match, Manggahan secured its first win in the Basketball Boys division, dominating Ati-Atihan with a final score of 50–34. However, Ati-Atihan remained vigilant as Basketball Girls claimed a victory against Manggahan, leveling the score with a 31-21 win.

On the other side of the court, Ati-Atihan and Binirayan dominated the Volleyball tournament in both boys and girls division. In the first match, Ati-atihan claimed another victory against Manggahan Boys team with a score of 25-23, and Girls team with 25-22. In the second match, Binirayan prevailed over Dinagyang with a score of 25-23 in the Boys Team and 25-20 in the Girls Team.

In the Football Boys category, Manggahan prevailed once again, narrowly defeating Ati-Atihan with a score of 1–0.
