๐™‹๐˜ผ๐™‰๐™„๐™๐™„๐™†๐˜ผ๐™‰ |

๐™„๐˜พ๐™”๐™ˆ๐™„ | Pedagogy 2.0: FETO Once More Powers Up Through a Dual Seminar-Workshop

Aiming to further sharpen the teaching competencies of aspiring English educators, the Future English Teachers Organization (FETO) once again held its dynamic seminar-workshop at the President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) E-Library on Thursday, March 12.

Centered on the dual pillars of instructional design, English students from first to fourth year participated in a morning seminar under the theme โ€œLevel Up! 2.0: Revealing the Tricks for Lesson Planningโ€ for a day of intensive professional development.

Serving as the morningโ€™s highlight, guest speaker Mrs. Rowena Mandanas Dullas, Master Teacher II at Zambales National High School (ZNHS), shared practical strategies in lesson planning and stressed the importance of thorough preparation, highlighting how careful planning leads to effective teaching.

โ€œIt is a crime for a teacher to go to class without a lesson plan," she shared.

After the seminar, participants joined a forum for open discussion and then took part in a hands-on group activity, collaborating to create their own lesson plans and apply the strategies they had learned.

Meanwhile, the afternoon session focused on specialized instruction through the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Workshop, which equips educators with strategies for teaching English to non-native speakers.

"The challenge is to build sensitivity," shared guest speaker Mr. Don V. Manalo before leading the participants through a series of group activities and lesson demonstrations.

After engaging in both the forum and TESOL activities, students concluded the seminar-workshop enriched with knowledge and ready to apply their learning in the classroom.

Organized by the Future Physical Education Teachersโ€™ Organization (FPETO), the BPED Get-Together 2026 transformed the President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) Gymnasium into a vibrant space of expression and connection on March 12.

More than a social gathering, the event provided students with a chance to pause from academic demands, celebrate achievements, and strengthen their sense of community.

Runway entrance featured students, FPETO officials, faculty members, and guests as each participantโ€™s outfit reflected personality and creativity, earning cheers from the audience and setting a lively tone for the program.

BPEd Program Chair Dr. Paulino J. Laguer Jr. delivered a message of perseverance, collaboration, and shared vision among students.

"Behind every challenge is growth, and behind every effort is a dream we are pursuing," he said.

"Continue to inspire each other, support one another, and always carry the vision of a future BPEd professional,โ€ he added.

As the program continued, students took part in intermission performances, the Darling of the Crowd and Table Set-Up competitions, parlor games, and the Dance for All segment, which encouraged interaction and teamwork across participants.

Meanwhile, Stephany Reglos, shared her excitement after being recognized as Best Outfit.

โ€œSobrang nag-enjoy po ako sa mga activities, lalo na po sa parampa outfit. Hindi ko po in-expect na ako โ€˜yung mapipili as Best Outfit,โ€ she said.

As the night drew to a close, the event left participants with lasting memories of performances, awards, and shared experiences, while reinforcing the sense of belonging and unity among students.

The BPEd Get-Together 2026 successfully combined entertainment, talent, and camaraderie, reminding attendees that behind every future educator is a supportive and inspiring community.

The Future Mathematics Teachers' Organization (FMTO) successfully launched ALAMATH 2026 under the theme โ€œActivating the Limitless Application of Mathematics,โ€ showcasing studentsโ€™ brilliance and skills through a series of thrilling and interactive activities held at the Science-Based Education Building (SBEB) grounds on March 12.

Marking the start of the event, a seminar gathered students to explore insightful approaches to planning effective Mathematics lessons.

FMTO President Iya Marie C. Bantilo delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the significance of Mathematics in education.

โ€œMath is the Queen of the Sciences,โ€ she shared, highlighting how the subject serves as a foundation for understanding and excelling in other disciplines.

To further strengthen studentsโ€™ skills in problem-solving and innovation, Ms. Kimberly Fungo, a DOST scholar and Bachelor of Secondary Education in Mathematics graduate from President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU), delivered an informative seminar, sharing practical tips and effective strategies for future teachers.

Following the seminar, the event featured a series of engaging activities with representatives from different Future Teachersโ€™ Organizations (FTOs).

๐™„๐™‰ ๐™‹๐™ƒ๐™Š๐™๐™Š๐™Ž | CTEzens soar back on the winds of leadership

Blowing back with renewed force, the Aspiring Teachers Leadership Advancing Summit (A.T.L.A.S.) 2026 returned to guide and equip future educators and leaders at the E-Library 2nd Floor and CTE Grounds, March 12.

Guided by the theme โ€œAngin ya Manguna, Itanduro ya Tatalaโ€ โ€” the wind that leads and shows the way โ€” the summit encouraged aspiring educators to channel its force to guide, uplift, and make a meaningful impact in learning environments.

Inspired by the spirit of the wind, participants were grouped into six teams named after birdsโ€”Maya, Pugo, Agila, Lawin, Kuwago, and Uwakโ€”who navigated ten trails together with their respective โ€œparents,โ€ serving as guides to lead and support them throughout the summit.

Moreover, each trail consisted of challenges that tested participantsโ€™ cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership, fostering both critical thinking and collaboration.

โ€œKakaiba ang tuwang naramdaman ko, hindi lang dahil may natutunan ako tungkol sa leadership, kundi dahil mas natuto akong makipag-socialize sa ibaโ€™t ibang lider-estudyante na tunay na may potential sa pamumuno,โ€ shared Apollo Dacuyan, one of the โ€˜parents,โ€™ reflecting on the experience.

โ€œMaraming salamat din sa lahat ng bumubuo sa CTE-SBO sa pag-oorganisa ng ganitong event,โ€ he added.

The day concluded with an inspirational message from CTE-SBO President Dhann Mariel Anglit, who shared her journey from being a former A.T.L.A.S. participant to now leading and implementing the event, encouraging the next generation of student leaders to take the reins in future editions.
