Mayo 1898 nang magbalik si Emilio Aguinaldo sa Pilipinas mula Hongkong at ang Labanan sa Alapan ang naging unang sagupaan ng mga Pilipino at Kastila. Nagwagi ang Pilipinas nang maubusan ng bala at pulbura ang mga Espanyol.

Sa pagdiriwang ng unang tagumpay ng ating mga kababayan, iwinagayway ni Aguinaldo sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ang ating watawat sa gitna ng hiyawan at palakpakan ng mga sundalong Pilipino. Simula 28 Mayo hanggang 12 Hunyo, ipinagdiriwang natin ang mga Pambansang Araw ng Watawat hanggang sa Araw ng Kalayaan.

Hello everyone, Mabuhay! It is Charlie Aguilar, your Youth Social Media Affair Representative of this organization. I would like to inform you that the actual goals, vision, and purpose of this organization are to empower, support, and encourage everyone involved in this growing, developing, and healthy community, particularly the young people of our generation. Our goal is to raise virtuous children and individuals who will love and cherish our hometown, Hagonoy, and our country even more.

We would like to raise awareness of several projects, initiatives, and programs soon, so that we can benefit from them in the future if we are given the opportunity to serve as this chapter's youth leader, officers, and social media affairs representative in our home town.

We want you guys to be part of this nation-wide transformation, and we will create an impact and history in the lives of many people in Bayang Hagonoy, especially in the lives of young people in our community.

Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) President and South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr. addressed party members and officers following the COMELEC En Banc hearing on the PFP case, held Tuesday, June 4 at the COMELEC Office in Intramuros, Manila.

Governor Tamayo emphasized that the hearing was a standard procedure and assured members that there was no cause for concern. He encouraged everyone to persist in their efforts, particularly in community organizing and the ongoing expansion of the party.

"The case hearing held was a normal process," Governor Tamayo stated. "While we wait for the result, I encourage all PFP members and officers to continue with their assigned tasks, including community organizing. As executive officers of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, we will continue to fulfill our mandate, especially the massive expansion of the party."

Governor Tamayo expressed his gratitude to the PFP members and officers from various regions who gathered to show their support for his leadership.

He reassured everyone, saying, "Tuloy-tuloy lang tayo. Walang dapat ikabahala, patuloy lang tayo sa organizing, at sa massive expansion na ginagawa natin sa Partido Federal ng Pilipinas."

The PFP, under Governor Tamayo's leadership, remains steadfast in its commitment to growth and community engagement. Despite the ongoing case, the party's efforts to expand and organize at the grassroots level will persist unabated, reflecting their dedication to their political mission and the Filipino people.

National Flag Day in the Philippines is celebrated on May 28. It commemorates the first use of the Philippine flag after the victory in the Battle of Alapan in 1898.The current national flag of the Philippines was created by the Filipino revolutionary Emilio Aguinaldo in 1897. It is a horizontal bicolor of royal blue over scarlet red. There is a white equilateral triangle at the hoist with a golden sun with 8 rays in the center and a 5-pointed gold star at each vertex.The flag was first raised after the Battle of Alapan that occurred on May 28, 1898. The battle was fought between the Filipino revolutionaries led by Aguinaldo and Spanish troops. The Spanish were defeated, and the revolutionaries recaptured the province of Cavite. After the battle, Aguinaldo entered Cavite City and unfurled the would-be national flag for the first time.Flag Day in the Philippines is marked with the raising of the national flag. The flag is permanently displayed from May 28 to June 12 (Independence Day) by all government offices and agencies, businesses, educational institutions and private residences. In recent years, the flag days have been extended until June 30 to celebrate the country’s independence and promote patriotism.
