As a die-hard fan of James Wan films 👻 and horror in general 🔪, Strange Frequencies has been on my radar since the trailer dropped. It truly excites me to see a Filipino horror film with an international feel.

Rating: 8/10

Without spoiling too much, I applaud the film for maintaining the live-streaming concept throughout, making it realistic.

The jumpscares 😱 and gore 🩸 were effectively executed. Mj delivered a surprisingly strong performance, while Jane and Quen were perfectly cast, with Jane particularly captivating.

I was hoping for a more detailed backstory on the paranormal occurrences. We all know the place is haunted because of the malpractices na nangyare sa lugar but to actually see a reenactment would be nice, perhaps in a sequel? 😊

At sana hindi lang basta sumulpot si MJ sa eksena. Wala kasi sya sa airport pickup scene so I was like, san sya nanggaling?! Or did I just missed something?! 😂

Overall, Strange Frequencies demonstrates that Filipino cinema can indeed produce world-class horror films. I hope to see more films of this genre. 👻👻
