I'm posting this from the airplane right now heading back to the US. I got very sick right before leaving the hotel so part of me was hoping it wasn't the Lord's will for me to go back. But by the Lord's grace I was able to push through and get on the plane. These photos are from our last night together at the hotel pool. It was not an easy decision to go back, but we determined it was a necessary one in order to prepare for our coming baby. Even in the midst of our suffering from this new separation, the Lord is good. I love you and miss you very much Allaine Curri. Hoping to see you sooner than we both realize.

5/24/2024 - 2 days ago we found out that we're pregnant and today the ultrasound confirmed it! I feel our happiness is multiplied because this moment has been anticipated for over 2 years. And the timing is actually wonderful because we expect Allaines visa to take another 6 months at most. God be praised 🙏

First send! Since I started rock climbing in America, I've had my mind on the climbing potential of my other home in Dingalan Aurora. The rock quality here is very good and there's lots of possibilities. I'm so happy to be back but sad I only have a couple of days to attempt new climbs. This is the first boulder I've felt in Dingalan. It will take some more work to fine tune the route, but the initial feel is better than I was expecting. I want the crux to be a bit higher up, but it's dangerous to feel out without crash pads.
