This is a documentary movie entitled "The Lost Children. It was about the story of 4 kids who were survivors during the plane crash in the middle of the Amazon forest. The three people were killed including their mother , the two people were the pilots. The ages of the 4 siblings were 13 years old,9 years old, 4 years old, and 11 months old. People in their country believed they could not survive, but thanks to the army and indigenous people who never gave up on searching for these 4 siblings. They were so dedicated and determined to find them and to save them. On 40 days of their search for the four children, they lost their hope because on that day, the air forces were going to get them back. They were so sad because they thought they failed on their mission. But God has really on them. On the 40 days of searching one of the rescuers saw the four siblings alive. They were so thin, so hungry. As for the investigation, they survive by eating any kind of wild fruits from the forest. Based on the documentary itself, their survival was a great miracle from God. The 4 children were Catholics. The armies also are practicing the Catholic faith. Amidst their darkness and suffering, the eldest child is determined to see the hope that one day, God will relieve their struggles. As for the armed forces, they believed that there was a supernatural who shed protection for them. In the Catholic faith, we have our beliefs that souls of the dead still remain within 40 days after the day of death. So while watching the story, I could say that even if their mother died but still she was spiritually protecting her children, so they will not be put into danger.Because it is so impossible to live and survive in the middle of a huge forest where there are lots of wild animals. Furthermore, I believe that solidarity and unity is really important regardless of race, creed, cultures, beliefs and tradition. This story is so heart touching and inspiring.
