Nobyembre 12, 2025 – Isang araw na puno ng sigla, kulay, at pagkakaisa! Sama-samang ipinagdiwang ng Cluster 11 ang 'Panaghiusa Festival: Kluster Onse Kasadya sa Kultura' sa Buda National High School. Labing-anim na paaralan ang nagtipon-tipon upang ipakita ang kanilang talento at pagmamahal sa ating kultura sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang patimpalak.
Ang 'Panaghiusa Festival' ay hindi lamang isang patimpalak, kundi isang pagdiriwang ng ating pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino. Ito ay isang pagkakataon upang ipagmalaki ang ating kultura at ipakita sa mundo ang galing ng mga kabataan ng Cluster 11.

𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹

Indigenous Peoples(IP) in cluster 11 are experiencing a remarkable renewal as their cultures and rights gain recognition.This important moment highlights their efforts to share their stories, marking a significant.

The IPED Program with a theme of "Panghiusa Festival: Kluster onse, Kasadya sa kultura" is held at Buda National High school,8:30am , November 12, 2025 to share cultural awareness.

"Let's boost our confidence as a indigenous," An IP student from Buatan said. "Atoa gyung ipalaganap atong cultures," She added.

She also says that as an IP, they should continue to wear their cultural costume.

In addition, the IP students ftom 16 schools showcases their talent and performance in cultural dances.

Buda National High School participates to the Campus Journalism Academy with a theme of Davao City Journalism Academy Year III: Shaping Responsible Campus Journalists in the Digital Age held at Crossing Bayabas National High School, Toril, Davao City on October 24, 2025 to emphasize the minds and skills of students and in preparation for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) in December 1 - 5, 2025.

The event aimed to help young campus journalists improve their skills in writing. Trainers and coaches guided the students through workshops and activities that whick composed of different categories such as news writing, feature writing, photojournalism, etc. This improves their skills to boost in their full potential to do well in the upcoming DSPC.

The goal of the academy is not only to prepare the students for the DSPC but also to help them aim for higher competitions like Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) and National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) with enthusiasm.

Together with SPAs Ivy B. Lumikid and Divina R. Odod, they aimed to help young campus journalists improve their skills in writing. They also guided the students through workshops and activities that focused on different journalism categories such as news writing, feature writing, photojournalism, and radio broadcasting.

A training was conducted to test student journalists their writing skills and creative mind. This activity helped them practice under time pressure and apply what they learned during the training. It also allowed coaches to assess the students’ strengths and areas that need improvement.

During the training, two contestants from Buda National High School showed an excellent performance and producing the best output. Leslie Venus De Leon, a grade 12 student finishes 8th place from the category Copy Reading and Headline Writing(CRHW). On the other hand, Aerone Jaztine C. Carbaquil, a grade nine student also finished 10th place from the Column Writing Category. This remarkable outstanding showed a true spirit of Budanians.

𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

The ARAL Program Kick-Off was held at the Buda National High School Conference Room on October 22, 2025. The event aims not just to educate students, but also to let them know that learning is a journey of growth and second chances. Through this program, learners are encouraged to believe in themselves, recover what was lost, and continue striving for success. With the support of teachers, parents, and school staff, the ARAL Program serves as a reminder that no learner should be left behind.

The program with an opening prayer, followed by the national anthem and an inspiring message from the school principal, sir Reylando B. Fransisco, who shared the importance of education. Teachers and facilitators also shared motivational messages and strategies to help students overcome academic challenges. Interactive activities and discussions were conducted to engage the students and strengthen their confidence in their abilities.

Parents and guardians were likewise encouraged to take an active role in their children’s learning journey, highlighting the spirit of Bayanihan within the school community.

As mentioned during the program, education is a right, not a privilege, and no learner should be left behind. With the support of the school, parents, and the community, the ARAL Program continues to remind everyone that learning is a shared responsibility.

The event ended with smiles and hope as everyone looked forward to the positive changes the ARAL Program will bring. Truly, this kickoff is just the beginning of a brighter and more welcoming journey for every learner.

To safeguard the welfare of all students due to the recent twin tremors and its aftershocks, DepEd Davao City Division will implement MODULAR, AND ASYNCHRONOUS or BLENDED LEARNING starting tomorrow, October 15, 2025 until further notice.

Teaching personnel are not required to report onsite, while non-teaching personnel shall continue to report to ensure the continuity of essential school operations.

Teachers are also directed to monitor the conduct of blended learning, ensure the continuity of learning activities, and provide necessary learner support.

Let us remain vigilant and prioritize our safety while continuing our pursuit of learning.

Yesterday, October 10, 2025, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit Buda National High School making students evacuate in the school ground.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology(PHIVOLCS) reports to expect aftershocks.

"Dili nato matagna kung kanus-a molinog. Karon kusog kusog gyud. Importante dili lang gyud ta ma rattle and mag pray lang gyud." Buda National tional High School teacher, Josie S. Suecano says.

Ma'am Suecano also adds that she saw the students apply what they have learned through the previous earthquake drill practices during the earthquake.

Additionally, the school declared a class suspension in the afternoon, after the earthquake to ensure the safety of the students.

Apparently, No students were harmed in Buda national high school after a 7.6 magnitude earthquake.

𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Let us welcome the newest members of the teaching community as Buda National High School (BNHS) opened it's doors for the Teacher Induction and Orientation Program for newly hired teachers in Cluster 11 on October 9, 2025.

Supervised by Ma’am Eldecris Calzadora, the activity served as a meaningful introduction to the Department of Education’s principles, goals, and standards.

The sessions focused on professional ethics, learner-centered teaching, school protocols, and classroom management— Topics that helped the new teachers get ready for their first steps in shaping young minds.

Representatives from the Schools Division of Davao City also gave messages
of encouragement, bringing attention to the important role of teachers in the success of the K–12 curriculum and community development.

Through initiatives like the Teacher Induction Program, Buda National High School continues to uphold its commitment to excellence and professional growth, ensuring that every teacher is equipped and inspired to make a lasting impact in the lives of learners.

As the day ended, the newly hired teachers take their first steps with confidence, ready to inspire, to guide, and to make a difference by bringing their light into every classroom they enter.
