๐‚๐‹๐”๐’๐“๐„๐‘ ๐Œ๐„๐„๐“ โ€“ The volleyball men of Buda National High School have once again demonstrated their dominance, emerging victorious at the Cluster 11 Sports Meet held at Marilog National High School on October 18-19.

Under the expert guidance of ๐‚๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก ๐Œ๐ข๐œ๐ก๐š๐ž๐ฅ ๐๐š๐›๐ฅ๐จ, the team showcased exceptional teamwork, skill, and determination, earning their place in the upcoming unit meet. Their consistent performance throughout the tournament solidified their position as a formidable force within the cluster.

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐Œ๐•๐ of the games was awarded to ๐‚๐ž๐๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐•๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ, a grade 12 senior GAS student, who played a pivotal role in the team's success. Villamor's outstanding skills and leadership on the court were instrumental in securing Buda NH's victory.

In addition to Villamor's exceptional performance, several other team members also received recognition for their outstanding contributions. ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ฅ ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐“๐ฎ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐ค was named the best setter and best server, while ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐ข๐ง ๐„๐๐šรฑ๐จ was awarded the best libero. ๐‰๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฉ๐ก ๐‰๐š๐ฎ๐ฆ was recognized for his exceptional digging skills, and ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐จ was honored as the best opposite spiker.

๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ , ๐ƒ๐š๐ฏ๐š๐จ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ โ€“ The Buda National High School (Buda NHS) volleyball women's team made a strong showing at the Cluster 11 Sports Meet held at Marilog last October 18-19, 2024. The team, coached by Ma'am Ivy Basia-Lumikid and assisted by Ma'am Christine Joy Navarro, secured a silver medal finish and earned the opportunity to compete in the championship match against Marilog National High School.

Despite facing tough competition from other schools in the cluster, the Buda NHS volleyball team showcased their skills and determination throughout the tournament. Their impressive performance led them to the finals, where they faced the formidable Marilog National High School team.

Although they fell short in the championship game, the Buda NHS volleyball women's team's silver medal finish is a significant accomplishment that reflects their hard work and dedication. The team's success is a testament to the coaching staff's guidance and the players' commitment to the sport.

On September 25, 2024. Buda National High School erupted with excitement as students from grades 7 to 12 participated in the annual Intramurals, themed "Unleash the Champion Within: Embrace Excellence and Unity." The event kicked off with a vibrant parade, showcasing each teamโ€™s spirit and colors, as students proudly marched around the field.

Following the parade, attendees stood for the national anthem and a heartfelt prayer, setting the tone for a day filled with fun and competition. School Head Maโ€™am Antonia Tonette Doรฑa delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of teamwork and resilience. โ€œToday, we gather to celebrate our strengths and to uplift one another,โ€ she encouraged.

The BNHS Drum and Lyre Corps, coordinated by Maโ€™am Mayumi G. Timbogan, captivated the audience with a lively band presentation, infusing energy into the atmosphere. This was followed by a symbolic Lighting of the Torch by DCAA athlete, Alonar Roble Jr., igniting the competitive spirit of the day. DCAA athlete, Rodel Ubay then led the Oath of Amateurism, reminding all participants of the values of sportsmanship.

The Banner Raising ceremony saw student representative and teacher pairs proudly display their team banners, with The Peach Panda team (Grade 11 Level) emerging victorious. The excitement continued with a Mascot Dance Showdown, where each team showcased their creativity and enthusiasm, leaving the crowd cheering for more.

Safety was emphasized with a brief address from Maโ€™am Shielah Mae V. Gundaya, DRRM Co-Chair, who reminded everyone about the importance of safety during the events. Following this, Sir Dimple L. Odod, the sports coordinator, introduced the Games & Tournament Managers, ensuring that all participants understood the structure of the dayโ€™s competitions.

Finally, Maโ€™am Antonia S. Dona declared the School Intramurals 2024 officially open, marking the beginning of an exciting day filled with sports and spirit. The event concluded with a Mass Dance Competition, uniting students in rhythm and celebration, embodying the ultimate spirit of excellence and unity.
