The afternoon session brings another wave of competitions for Buda NHS's talented students. Eunice Jakosalem is demonstrating her skills in Copyreading and Headline Writing (English), while Jennelyn Amarellinto is crafting her column in English. Angel Flor Navora is tackling Column Writing in Filipino.

Visual artistry is also on display, with Rubie Jhon Odod competing in Editorial Cartooning (English) and Jaya Joanna Falar in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino). Zelle Venice De Leon rounds out the Buda NHS contingent, competing in Photojournalism (English).

Buda National High School is making its debut at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, with a team of first-time participants currently competing in various writing categories at Mintal Elementary School.

Buda National High School is currently represented at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, with a team of first-time participants showcasing their talents in various writing categories.

The English Sports Writing competition is underway from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with Kayezei G. Polo representing the school. Edrich Celedonia is also currently competing in the Filipino Sports Writing category.

Meanwhile, the News Writing and Editorial Writing competitions are currently taking place. Kathrine Quijada is participating in the English News Writing competition, while Rochelle Banguanan is competing in Pagsulat ng Balita in the Filipino category. Both News Writing and Editorial Writing competitions have an allotted time of one hour, from 8:20 AM to 9:20 AM, for the journalists to craft their pieces. Johana Gotera represents the school in Editorial Writing in Filipino, and Wendel Asagra competes in the English Editorial Writing category.

The DSPC 2025 opened yesterday, January 29, with the first day of the elimination round. Today, January 30, is the second day of the elimination round. The competition will continue tomorrow, January 31, and will conclude on February 1.

The school's advisers, Vee Basia for the English club "SIBOL NEWS" and Divina R Odod for the Filipino club "ANG MABUT," are guiding the young journalists throughout the competition.

This year's DSPC marks a significant milestone for Buda NHS, headed by Antonia Tonette Doรฑa , Head Teacher VI, as they participate in the prestigious competition for the first time. The school community is eagerly awaiting the results and cheering on their talented young writers.

Their consistent performance throughout the tournament solidified their position as a formidable force within the cluster.

Villamor's outstanding skills and leadership on the court were instrumental in securing Buda NH's victory.

On October 2, 2024, The talented Grade 11 students read descriptive pieces as part of their Oral Communication project, while Grade 12 showcased their creativity with recycled fashion costumes in Contemporary Philippine Arts. Guided by their amazing subject teacher, Ma'am Ivy Basia-Lumikid, the theme, "Spoken Threads: A Tapestry of Words and Fashion," wove a rich tapestry of culture and expression. Letโ€™s continue to honor and explore the art of storytelling through words and fashion!
