Medyo daghan ang nahitabo sa kadtong Novembre hangtod karon pero nakadesisyon ko nga magstay diri sa Canada karong tuig kay nausab ang akong mga prayoridad. Walay plano sa YouTube karon dayon pero dili ko mohunong sa pagtuon og Bisaya ug lahing mga lingwahe sa Pinas kay ganahan kaayo pa ko sa Pilipinas. Sige na mao na lang. Quite a lot happened from last November up until now, but I’ve decided it’s better to stay in Canada for now since my priorities have changed since last year. No big plans with YouTube for the time being, but I’m still always studying Bisaya and different Filipino languages because of my love for the Philippines! Maayong adlaw! This video is not a travel vlog and it will probably not be popular among my subscribers and that's ok! My channel isn't 100% about Veganism, but occasionally I like to post about it as it's how I eat and this video is just that.

I'm just sharing information about what works for me and if people are just talking about their health, the environment, and animals I'm happy with that.

Thanks for reading. I haven't forgotten about you guys, I've just been putting all of my energy into training, Bisaya, my big plans in the Philippines this year, work, etc. I seriously cannot wait to go back to the Philippines and share more experiences with you all soon. Happy New Year everyone! 2022 was a crazy year, lots of ups and downs, but still coming out strong. New videos at some point this year when I'm not so busy. Hanging out with Muslims in Maguindanao, Mindanao at Masjid Dimaukom (Pink Mosque) earlier this year. Aside from passing through Marawi, I have never felt unsafe in Mindanao. Everyone I have met has been super welcoming and extremely friendly. For sure there are people with ill intentions and dangerous places in Mindanao, but that's to be expected in any country.

One of my Filipino coworkers in Canada told me today that he could not believe that I traveled to many places in Mindanao on my bike. He said "even for me as a Filipino, I am too scared to go to Mindanao." When I hear things like this, it really bums me out because Mindanao is a really special place to me and my experiences have only reflected the opposite of these negative assumptions. The news does a good job of covering the negatives, but the positives always take the back seat.

I just feel like venting and I hope to see much more of Mindanao soon. Hope everyone has a solid pasko in the Philippines! See you again soon Mindanao.

Personal thoughts! While sitting on the ferry onwards to Siargao today I was feeling kind of gloomy and had been for the past few days. This wasn’t because my feet were damp(sorry Mom), pants semi-damp, and I’m still recovering from tonsillitis. It was because my trip in the Philippines will come to an end by October 31st. Instead of dwelling too much, I began reflecting on all the amazing people and experiences I’ve had in the past 6 months here. New faces, old faces, new bonds, and stronger bonds. I’ve travelled by motorcycle in other countries, but this experience was much different. At this time my friend sent me this link that Kulas had posted. It hit me after reading it and reflecting on our conversations in Cateel, literally bonding over the Philippines.. 16,000km+ of countless positive experiences in Mindanao/Visayas and I realized, this is where I want to be. The people, the culture, the landscapes, BISAYA, and the heart of the Filipino impacted me in such a way that I don’t see my future in Canada.. It’s in the Philippines. Big life leaps take time, so with that being said you can expect a few more videos as I’m here until October 31st, and I’ll be back next year when the time is right.

Did you know there's a semi secret beach located just outside of Tagum City? Also a beautiful view point that overlooks the ocean, Samal Island, Davao City, Tagum City, and more? There are so many beautiful places in Mindanao and I hope you guys can all explore here soon (links in YouTube bio of these places). Heading to Surigao soon, so I hope to see you guys on the other side.

I was in Mati the past few days without my computer so I forgot to post this on FB!! Met Kulas recently and we talked about many things like how safe Mindanao really is, motorcycle trips, Filipino culture, being vegan in the Philippines, his journey here, among many other things! Super down to earth and genuine guy as you all probably know, and I was super grateful to chat with him for over an hour despite him being super busy that day.

I'm heading back to Canada soon, but I still have a few more videos in me so stay tuned. Also a big thank you to anyone who followed or subscribed to me recently, lots of positive comments among the odd negative one inevitably.

What can I say? Mindanao is really a special place with so much to take in. The beautiful landscapes, the rich culture, and the Filipinos to say the least. Here's a quick video from my trip to Lake Sebu in South Cotabato province the other day. Looking forward to seeing more of Mindanao soon on my upcoming motorcycle loop.

Raw VLOG from Kidapawan City recently for Timpupo Fiesta. "Timpupo" is a Manobo term basically meaning "abundant harvest." As you can guess by the meaning, the fiesta has no shortage fruits to enjoy. Kidapawan is a really cool city and the people there are extremely welcoming there to say the least. Mindanao always on top. 🇵🇭 🏆
