This Tree is 4,853 Years Old — Older Than the Pyramids:

One of the world's oldest living trees is Methuselah, a Great Basin bristlecone pine located in the White Mountains of eastern California.

Tree-ring data estimates that Methuselah is an astonishing 4,853 years old, meaning it was already alive when the pyramids at Giza were being built.

For its protection, the exact location of Methuselah is kept secret, though it's believed to reside in the Methuselah Grove within the Inyo National Forest.

As a result, the image you see here is of a related tree and not Methuselah itself.
This ancient tree stands as a living testament to the resilience of nature, having weathered millennia of environmental changes.

( THE LAWYER AND THE ARTIST )

A Story Worth Your Time.

A lawyer and an artist had lived in the same neighborhood for many years. Though they were not close friends, but they greeted each other every day. One day, the lawyer visited the artist and told him,

"Listen, a client of mine told me some really bad things about you. He said you're a terrible artist and most of your artworks are crap. He said that anyone who buys your artwork must be really dumb. He told me more rude things about you that I can't even talk about. He is your enemy!"

The artist gave a long, deep sigh and muttered,
"Yes, he is my enemy! He is truly my enemy!"

The following day, the lawyer visited the artist again and said to him,

"Listen, I met someone at a restaurant and he told me some nasty things about you. He said you're a smoker, a chronic drug abuser and a heavy drinker. He also said you're a former armed robber, and a former car thief. He didn't just tell me, but he told everyone in the restaurant. He is also your enemy! You have two enemies!"

The artist sighed heavily and mumbled,
"Yes, he is my enemy! I have two enemies!"

On the third day, the lawyer went to visit the artist again and told him,

"Look, a man from our neighbourhood stopped me and told me some awful things about you. He said you have a highly infectious disease, and anyone who comes close to you will be infected. He is telling everyone to stay away from you. He is also your enemy! You have three enemies!"

However, this time around, the artist shook his head and said,
"No, you're wrong. I have four enemies!"

The lawyer protested,
"No, it's three!"

The artist then smiled and whispered into his ear,
"No, it's four! You forgot to include yourself. Listen, the fact that you didn't defend my name while those people were slandering me, but rushed to inform me about it, means you are also my enemy. In fact, you are my worst enemy!"

The lawyer was shocked and dumbfounded. He left the room, hanging his head in shame like a child.

LESSON TO LEARN:
When counting your enemies, never forget those who don't defend your name while someone slanders you. They know that you are a good person, but they keep quiet while they hear others say bad things about you. They are your enemies too! Be wise and be more careful!

Oplan Pagtugis isinagawa sa pangunguna ng CIDG RFU BAR katuwang ang Maguindanao del Sur PPO, RMFB14, RID PRO BAR, RIU 15-IG, 6IB, 6ID, Datu Salibo PNP at Datu Piang PNP upang ihain ang warrant of arrest laban kay Datu Salibo Mayor Solaiman Sandigan.

Hinuli si Mayor Solaiman Sandigan dahil sa pagkaka ugnay nito sa kasong Murder sa pagkakapatay nuong April ng taon kay Datu Salibo Municipal Councilor Demon Silongan.

Sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest sa kasong murder na inissue ng presiding Judge ng 12th Judicial Region RTC Branch 15, Cotabato City, inihain at nahuli si Datu Salibo Mayor Solaiman Sandigan sa mismo nitong pamahahay, kung saan walang inirerekomendang piyansa.

Kusa namang sumama si Mayor Solaiman Sandigan at nakahandang harapin ang kasong sinampa sa kanya, dinala ang Alkalde sa Opisina ng CIDG BAR.

Ang kasong Murder na kinakaharap ni Mayor Sandigan ay walang inirerekomendang piyansa.

Samantala, maliban pa kay Mayor Solaiman Sandigan, mayroon sinasabing apat na personalidad ang kusang sumuko sa mga otoridad kasabay ng pagkakahuli kay Datu Salibo Mayor Solaiman Sandigan.

YOU'RE GOING TO BE "OFF TRACK" 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME. SO WHAT?

Good families___even great families __are off track 90 percent of the time! The key is that they have a sense of destination. They know what the "track" looks like. And they keep coming back to it time and time again.

It's like the flight of an airplane. Before the plane takes off, the pilots have a flight plan. They know exactly where they're going and start off in accordance with their plan. But during the course of the flight, wind, rain, turbulence, air, traffic, human error, and other factors act upon that plane. They move it slightly in different directions so that most of the time that plane is not even on the prescribed flight path! Throughout the entire trip there are slight deviations from the flight plan. Whether system or unusually heavy air traffic may even cause major deviations. But barring anything too major, the plane will arrive at its destination.

Now how does that happen? During the flight , the pilots receive constant feedback. They receive information from instruments that read the environment, from control towers, from other airplanes__ even sometimes from the stars. And based on that feedback, they make adjustments so that time and time again, they keep returning to the flight plan.

The hope lies not in the deviations but in the vision, the plan, and the ability to get back on track.

The flight of that airplane is, I believe, the ideal metaphor for family life. With regard to our families, it doesn't make any difference if we are off target or even if our family is a mess. The hope lies in the vision and in the Plan and in the courage to keep coming back time and time again.
