Prayer
Help me, O Lord, to walk in the Spirit, that i fulfill not the lusts of the flesh. Let me be led of your Spirit who dwells in me, led into holiness of heart and life. Test my thoughts, examine my words, shed the light of your Word on each step I take. I am not skilled to walk alone, Lord, but must constantly rely on you for guidance and strength for the journey.

Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for all that you have done for me. I thank you for loving me and helping me understand what love is. Strengthen me in times that are difficult, aiding me when I am hurt so that I can love even my enemies. Dear God, I pray that in times of persecution and great tribulations, may you strengthen me and encourage me to keep going on. Dear God, my heart's desire is to live out the example you set for us, in the form of your Son, Jesus Christ. I desire to love my neighbors, my family, and even strangers the same way Christ loved all men and women without expecting anything in return. Inspiration
The contrast or tension between our worldly masters and our ultimate devotion to the Lord. These two things may not always be in conflict, so our obedience to both can be considered harmonious, even beneficial. But perhaps more often times than not, there is a disconnect between the two, just as in Christs' own time. The law of man is important in helping us maintain social order, modeled imperfectly as it is on God's moral order. But it is not and never will be the Law; for God does not respect our borders and our small islands of land with their governments. God respects what dwells within the hearts of men, wherever they may be, delighting in a community that gives thanks to him.

Prayer
Father of all men, share with us your wisdom and love around the world. Bring your disciples together, following in the footsteps of Christ and unifying our hearts in a choir of praise. Let us not forget that our allegiance lies with your Law, Lord, beyond the vagaries of men, and let us not forget Lord, your prophets and Son, giving thanks to them, Amen.
