Must’ve done something right to deserve this client.

Backstory:

I never applied for this role, never pitched my services.

One sunday morning, while we were getting ready for church, I got a random DM on Upwork.

Took me a bit to respond since I had to do my usual research

Just making sure everything looked legit and that I wasn’t dealing with a sketchy profile

Because let’s be real, scams exist.

Turns out, he didn’t even post the job publicly

He specifically wanted to work with Filipino freelancers because of their work ethic.

Best part is,

he’s looking for a long-term partnership, just like his other Filipino VAs in his clinic who’ve been with him for like 6-8 years.

He has been a dream.

He doesn’t micromanage.

Not toxic, ever.

No annoying regular meetings.

He allows me to work flexibly,

but he doesn’t like the idea of me working graveyard hours bec he’s a medical doctor 😅

He respects my boundaries.

And pays me premium.

Sometimes, the right clients just find you.

CLIENT: "For you, what is a Virtual Assistant?"

Ito ang isa sa mga pinaka-famous at nakakatensyon na tanong ng mga Client!

Minsan gusto mo sagutin ng "Superhero ng mga busy na bossing!" o kaya "Multitasking ninja na may matinding caffeine dependency!" pero syempre, kailangan natin ng professional na sagot (kahit antok na antok na tayo).

Ang VA ay hindi lang basta "online alalay."
It's a remote work na kayang mag-manage ng schedules, mag-email ng apakabilis, mag-handle ng social media, mag-deep research, at minsan, maging therapist ni boss kapag stressed siya. Charrr! In short, isang VA ay may superpowers sa productivity! hehe. Kahit ano pang specialization mo. (Next time explain ko. )😁

Ano’ng kailangan para maging VA?
📌 Laptop – Kung wala nito, paano na ang trabaho? Type ka na lang sa notebook?
📌 WiFi – "Virtual" nga diba? basta may internet. ganun..
📌 Pampawala ng Antok – Kape? Energy drink? Tubig na may lemon? Dasal? Lahat na!
📌 Pasensya at Diskarte – Kasi may client kang biglang magpapagawa ng "simple task" na parang thesis pala. HEHE..

Yun lang!
