Regular processing for these transactions will resume on Monday, January 13, 2025.

The Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment Region XI (DOLE R-XI), conducted a series of Technical Safety Inspections in power and industrial plants located in Cotabato City and Maguindanao del Norte on December 10-12, 2024.

The inspections were held at key establishments such as the Cotabato Light and Power Company (COLIGHT) and the Lamsan Group of Companies, which includes Lamsan Power Corporation and Lamsan Incorporated.

The inspection team was composed of professionals from both DOLE R-XI and MOLE-BARMM. Engr. Noel F. Reyes, PME from DOLE R-XI, along with Engr. Edwin Z. Alvarez, Engr. Mohamad Jehad M. Anayatin, and Engr. Jamalia A. Lantod from MOLE-BARMM, carried out the safety assessments at these facilities.

The annual Technical Safety Inspections under MOLE’s Labor Enforcement and Advisory Program (LEAP) ensure compliance with safety standards in industrial operations. They’re a prerequisite for the issuance of the Permit to Operate (PTO), which is mandatory for power and industrial plants to legally operate.

The inspections focus on evaluating the adherence of these facilities to established safety regulations and identifying potential risks that need to be addressed to safeguard both workers and the surrounding community.

MOLE-BARMM emphasized the importance of these inspections not only in maintaining safety standards but also in promoting a culture of safety in the workplace, which is essential for the sustainable operation of power and industrial plants across the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

MAS MARAMING TRABAHO, INASAHANG SA PAGPASOK NG 2025 SA PAMAMAGITAN NG BIDP NG MOLE-BARMM

COTABATO CITY [11/30/2024]||: Sa inilaan na pundo na 87 milyon sa ilalim ng Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE-BARMM), ang Bangsamoro Internship Development Program (BIDP) ay nakatakdang magbigay ng pansamantalang trabaho para sa 2,500 na wala pang trabaho na nagtapos sa kolehiyo.

Ang bawat intern ay tatanggap ng 75% na minimum na sahod sa kanilang mga nakatalagang probinsya o lungsod.

Itinatampok ng inisyatibong ito ang dedikasyon ng MOLE sa pagbibigay kapangyarihan sa mga walang trabahong nagtapos sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay sa kanila ng pagkakataong gamitin ang kanilang mga kasanayan sa serbisyong publiko.

Nilalayon din nitong maakit ang mga nangungunang talento sa mga karera sa gobyerno, mga non-government organization, ministries, labor at employment sector, pribadong negosyo, at mga institusyong pang-edukasyon, kabilang ang Madaris/Madrasa na (Islamic degree holders).

Ito ang isininusulong ng mga mamahayag matapos bumuo ng groupo na tinatawag na "HALAL HINDI HANGAL" na pinamumunuan ni Jeff Mendez

Nagpapasalamat naman ang mga mamahayag sa tanggapan ni Members Atty. Suharto Ambuluto sa pakikipagtulungan ng Nonviolent Peace force sa pagsupurta para maisagawa ang nasabing Workshop.

NASA 19.5% O ₱72.93M BUDGET NG MOLE, ILALAAN SA MGA PROGRAMA NG MINISTRI

COTABATO CITY [11/15/2025]: Sa deliberasyon ng budget noong Huwebes ng hapon, Nobyembre 14, sa BTA Parliament Session Hall, inaprubahan ng BTA panel ang makabuluhang pagtaas ng 19.5% o ₱72.93 milyon mula sa ₱373.85 milyon na iminungkahing badyet ng ministeryo.

Naabot ang desisyon pagkatapos ng masusing pag-uusap ng mga miyembro ng Committee, sa pangunguna ng chair MP nito na si Mary Ann M. Arnado.

Isang kabuuang ₱446,796,451.00 ang ilalaan para sa Ministry of Labor and Employment para sa fiscal year 2025 pagkatapos aprubahan ng Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s Committee on Finance, Budget, and Management ang iminungkahing budget ng ministeryo.

Bukod dito, nakatanggap ang ministeryo ng mga papuri mula sa mga miyembro ng panel para sa mataas na rate ng paggamit ng badyet nito sa 82.91% para sa taong ito.

Ang karagdagang ₱72.93 milyon ay magbibigay sa MOLE ng mas maraming mapagkukunan upang palakasin ang mga programa nito sa paggawa at pagtatrabaho, na sumusuporta sa mga hakbangin sa pagpapaunlad ng mga manggagawa, at tugunan ang lumalaking hamon sa manggagawa sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

Sa mensahe ni BARMM MOLE Minister Datu Muslimin G. Sema, umapela sa mga miyembro ng CFBM, hindi upang ipagtanggol ang paglalaan ng badyet ng MOLE, ngunit upang himukin ang pagtaas ng pondong ibinibigay para sa mga inisyatiba na may kaugnayan sa paggawa

Sinabi ni MOLE Labor Minister Sema na napakahalagang papel ng mga manggagawa, na binanggit na kung wala sila, ang ekonomiya ay hindi maaaring umunlad.

Higit pa rito, nakiusap siya sa lahat na huwag biguin ang mga manggagawa, maging sa formal o imformal sektor, sa pagbuo ng isang maunlad na kinabukasan para sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

Ilalaan naman ang naaprubahang pondo ng Ministri sa pagpopondo ng malawak na hanay ng mga programa sa ilalim ng Ministri, tulad ng Employment Facilitation and Promotion Program, Employment Preservation and Regulation Program, Workers' Social Protection and Welfare Program, at Wage and Productivity Development Program.

Inaasahang din na itutuon ng Ministri ang karagdagang pondo sa pagpapalawak ng mga programa nito at pagpapalakas ng kapasidad ng Ministri na ipatupad ang mga mandato nito nang epektibo.

Ang pag-apruba sa ₱446.7 milyong badyet para sa MOLE ay nagmamarka ng isang makabuluhang hakbang sa Ministri at sa patuloy na pagsisikap ng Gobyernong Bangsamoro na mapabuti ang sosyo-ekonomikong kondisyon ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Ipinakikita nito ang pangako ng rehiyon sa pagharap sa mga kritikal na isyu tulad ng kawalan ng trabaho,at hindi pagkakapantay-pantay sa ekonomiya—mga hamon na matagal nang humadlang sa ganap na pagsasakatuparan ng proseso ng kapayapaan ng Bangsamoro.
