📢 PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
OFFICIAL TRICYCLE FARES & VIOLATIONS – MUNICIPALITY OF CORON, PALAWAN

Good day to all residents, drivers, and visitors of Coron.

The Office of the Tricycle Franchise Regulatory Board (TFRB) hereby informs the public of the official tricycle fare rates and penalties as approved under Municipal Ordinance No. 11, Series of 2023, effective March 21, 2023.

🚖 TRICYCLE FARES
Minimum fare starts at ₱15.00
Designated routes within Town Proper, Pier, Hospital, PSU, Barangays, and special destinations have corresponding approved rates
Special trips, port trips, and town tours (including Maquinit Hot Spring and Cabu Beach Tour) have fixed charges
Luggage and freight fees are also regulated within town proper

⚠️ VIOLATIONS & FINES
Drivers found committing the following will be fined accordingly:
Overpricing of fare – ₱1,500
Refusing passengers – ₱1,500
Refusing PWD/Senior Citizens – ₱2,000
Non-posting of tariff rates – ₱2,000
No body number / improper markings – ₱2,000
Colorum tricycle – ₱2,000
Coding violation – ₱1,500
No proper attire – ₱2,000

✔️ Drivers must post the approved tariff visibly
✔️ Passengers are encouraged to pay only the official rates
✔️ Report violations to the proper authorities
