This Christmas, the Sisters of Mary Schools Philippines proudly present “It’s That Time of Year”—a heartfelt song brought to life by over 3,000 of their students, in collaboration with Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, Keith Harris, David “DQ” Quinones, Johnny Black, and Edgar “Artek” Sinio. For over 30 years, the Sisters of Mary Schools have been transforming lives, providing housing, meals, and quality education to underprivileged youth. Every stream of this song directly supports their mission, building brighter futures for these students.

As we honor the Feast Day of St. Therese of Lisieux, the Patroness of Missions, and celebrate the birthday of our dearest Sisters, we pause to reflect on their profound impact on the thousands of lives they have touched. St. Therese's life is an exemplar of compassion, humility, and unwavering dedication - qualities that our dear Sisters live out every day in their mission to uplift and serve the poorest of the poor.

St. Therese, often called "The Little Flower," embraced a path of holiness rooted in simple acts of kindness and a deep trust in God's love. Her powerful intercessions have touched countless lives. The Sisters of Mary, much like St. Therese, exemplify this mission every day.

The sacrifices and devotion they embody are not only acts of service but powerful testimonies of faith and compassion in action. On this special day, may we all be inspired to renew our dedication to this sacred mission, following the examples of St. Therese’s deep faith.

The TESDA National Certification Assessment season is in full swing, and SMSAI students have once again demonstrated their exceptional skills across various qualifications, including Welding, Cookery, Bread and Pastry Production, and Electrical Installation and Maintenance.

Their performance has been outstanding, with students achieving a remarkable 100% passing rate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery and other qualifications.

Congratulations to all the students and the dedicated trainers who contributed to this success. A special thanks to TESDA for continuously supporting the school's mission in Technical and Vocational Education!

Today, we celebrate the Feast of St. Tarcisius, the patron saint of altar servers. As a young Roman martyr, Tarcisius gave his life to protect the Holy Eucharist. May his unwavering faith inspire our altar servers to grow deeper in their devotion and service to the Eucharist. Through his intercession, may they continue to serve with love and dedication.

PRAYER TO SAINT TARCISIUS

O God, You have graciously called me to serve You upon Your altar. Grant me the graces that I need to serve You faithfully and wholeheartedly. Grant too that while serving You, may I follow the example of St. Tarcisius, who died protecting the Eucharist, and walk the same path that led him to Heaven. St. Tarcisius, pray for me and for all servers. Amen.

Tarsicius was an acolite or perhaps a deacon at Rome. He was accosted and beaten to death on the Appian Way by a mob while carrying the Eucharist to some Christians in prison. The incident is included in Cardinal Wiseman's novel "Fabiola", and Pope Damasus wrote a poem about it. Tarsicius is the patron of first communicants and his feast day is August 15
