This station was launched on July 23, 2002. The UNICEF deed of donation to/acceptance of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar was signed on July 26, Daza.
The UNICEF deed of donation to/acceptance of the Provincial Government of Northern Samar was signed on July 26, 2002 by the UNICEF respresentative Dr. Terrel M. Hill and then Governor Raul A. The station was inaugurated on February 12, 2003 and is managed and operated by the Department of Communication, College of Arts and Communication, University of Eastern Philippines. It originally operated w
ith a power of 30 watts Fm transmitter and was upgraded to 300 watts on February 12, 2009. Through its online streaming, the station operates 24/7 unless there is electrical breakdown in the province.
