𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐌 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐍𝐎. 𝟔𝟕, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒

In order to provide government employees full opportunity to properly observe traditional AIl Saints' Day and All Souls' Day activities, allow them to travel to and from different regions in the country, and promote domestic tourism, work in government offices and classes at all levels shall be suspended on 31 October 2024 starting 12:00 p.m.

However, those agencies whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.

The order however does not cover those involved in healthcare service delivery, emergency response, disaster management and other essential services.

As for private institutions, the suspension of work is left at the discretion of their respective management.

Northern Samar having been declared under tropical cyclone wind signal number 1 for tropical storm , Governor Edwin Ongchuan has earlier directed the suspension of classes at all levels in the province to ensure the safety of school children and youth from heavy rains and possible flooding, leaving the suspension of work to the discretion of municipal mayors.
