HOLA PEEPS!|
Two of our very own LNHS Campus Journalists partook in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), held at Nabua National High School this 12th day of April 2024. We are thankful for this great opportunity that was given to us.
Contestant's and SPA statements regarding the DSPC:
[Marcmiel C. Barabad - Editorial Writing (ENG) 6th place]
"It was an absolute blast, this experience will definitely be one of my core memories as a student journalist, it was also great to see other students who have the same passion as me, and to our judge Sir Frank Penoles, I was deeply inspired by how I can feel your passion in writing articles just by giving us tips and encouraging us that writers shouldn't write only for their own purpose, but for their articles to be an institutional effort to make our country great."
[Princess Crisha N. Llanes - Feature Writing (ENG)]
"Being one of the representatives of the 2nd congressional district is a privilege for me as a LNHS Journalist, dun palang panalo nako. I'm also rooting to achieve my goal in the future with my co-CJ's, kaya "let's write, what's right!"
[Liezle S. Marcelino - SPA (TheGreenfields)]
"To our principal Florentina B. Marquez, SPTA officers, to all the parents of Lupi NHS, teaching and non-teaching staff thank you for the unwavering support you lent to us. Though we didn’t make it to RSPC, being top 6 and qualifier in this DSPC was truly fortunate. Thank you for letting us experience this rewarding journey.
As a coach, participating in this recent Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) at Nabua NHS was an incredibly enriching experience. Witnessing the students' satisfactory growth as they poured their hearts and minds into writing on the assigned topics was deeply rewarding.
Also, to Nabua National High School which really satisfied our expectations from its expansive grounds, the exceptional student-teacher band na matitibayon man talaga:), and the gracious hospitality extended to visiting delegations left a lasting impression to us.
And to our CJ’s Marcmiel and Princess soar high and be the best you can be. As you continue taking this path of Journalism, may you be the voice of our campus, our community and our nation. Congratulations and God bless us all."
KEEP UP THE OUTSTANDING WORK JOURNALISTS!
