SGFH is one of the six area assessments for an LGU before it can be awarded the SGLG or Seal of Good Local Governance.

Mainit na nagkasagutan ang dalawang bokal sa lalawigan ng Samar na sina Regina Rabuya ng unang distrito at Lee M. Zosa ng segundo distrito, sa usapin ng Gratuitous Special Use Permit ng DENR sa road opening mula sa Bayan ng Motiong hanggang San Jorge, Samar.

Sa sesyon sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan araw ng Martes, October 19, 2021 ay tinalakay sa plenaryo ang resolusyon na hinihiling ni Governor Michael Tan para linawin ang naturang usapin.

Subalit, sa halip na magkaliwanagan ay nauwi sa bangayan ng dalawang board member ang usapin.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Calbayog officially closed the filing of certificates of candidacy (COCs) of the aspirants for national and local position for the 2022 Philippine elections eyed to happen on May 09.

The week-long filing of COCs has kicked off last October 1 to October 8 at COMELEC Calbayog where familiar names for Local positions were vying for a post in 2022.
