𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘉𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 - 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 2025 𝘜𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦™✨

We are proud to officially introduce the newly founded organization, Oriental Mindoro Youth Leaders - Luna Goco Colleges Inc. (OMYL-LGCI Chapter), an organization dedicated to empowering and revitalizing the skillset of students at Luna Goco Colleges Inc. They are a collective force of young leaders committed to fostering social support, community engagement, and personal growth. Aimed to shape a brighter future for the school and beyond, united by a shared vision of positive change and leadership.

The OMYL-LGC is the second instated organization under Oriental Mindoro Youth Leaders within Calapan City, even in Oriental Mindoro. The first established Organization was OMYL-CCC Chapter (City College of Calapan). Through its faculty's help, supervision, and training, some dedicated students from LGCI was chosen and trained for this project and now a functioning organization, having Ms. Hanna Chelsea Padua, its advisor.

OMYL-LGC will be the sister-organization of Central Student Body Organization (CSBO), the only two standing organization of Luna Goco Colleges Inc. that aimed to shape and introduce new approach of leading students at its institution-based powers.

The OMYL-LGCI extends its heartfelt gratitude to the following for their contribution in the success of creating this organization: Mrs. Ma. Amabella Rosanna Manigbas-Cuasay, Mr. Jhopet C. Osorio, Mr. Joey M. Villanueva, Dra. Ma. Estrella L. Goco-Marasigan, Dra. Ma. Emelita Luna Goco, Ms. Fleurdeliz Gold Reyes, Central Student Body Organization, 3rd year Criminology Students batch Bagsik & Criminology Department headed by Dr. William Destura, and of course City College of Calapan and its faculty.

Araw ni Rizal: Paggunita sa Kabayanihan

Muling pagbabalik-tanaw sa kabayanihang ipinakita ng ating Pambansang Bayani, José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda o kilala bilang Jose Rizal na ipinaslang sa Fort Santiago, Disyembre 30, 1896.

Kilala si Rizal sa kaniyang mga obra maestra na sumikat katulad na lamang ng “Noli Me Tangere” at “El Filibusterismo” kung saan binigyang-diin ang kawalang katarungan sa mga Pilipino, diskriminasyon at korapsyon, kaya’t ito ang naging daan upang mamulat ang mga Pilipino na lumaban para sa kanilang bayan.

Naniniwala siya sa mapayapang paraan upang makamit ang kalayaan at pagbabago sa bansa kaya’t ginamit niya ang kaniyang pagsusulat na kalaunan natuldukan dahil sa kaniyang pagkamatay matapos ito barilin.

Manatili nawang nakabaon sa mga Pilipino ang mga iniwang akda ni Rizal bilang inspirasyon na lumaban sa mga hindi makatarungang pang-aabuso sa kapwa at ng bansa.

The LGC Golden Fox Basketball Men came out with a bang in the first game of the CCAA Basketball League Season 19 Finals, delivering an impressive 121-83 victory over the St. Mark Avian Cats at Sentrong Pangkabataan on December 9.

From the opening tip-off, the Golden Foxes took control of the game, leading 21-13 after the first quarter. They extended their advantage to 64-29 by halftime, and by the third quarter, the gap widened even further to 97-49. Despite a late push from the Avian Cats, LGC sealed the win with a commanding 121-83 scoreline.

With this powerful start, the Golden Foxes are on track to defend their title and secure back-to-back championships.
