SENATE RATIFIES BICAM REPORT POSTPONING BARANGAY, SK ELECTIONS

Sen. Joseph Victor “JV” G. Ejercito, during Wednesday’s plenary session September 28, 2022, submits before the Senate the bicameral conference committee report on the disagreeing provisions of Senate Bill No. 1306 and House Bill No. 4673 or “An Act Postponing the December 2022 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, amending for the purpose Republic Act No. 9164.” Ejercito said: “This humble representation is honored to present this conference committee report which was the result of thorough deliberation and commitment to our constituents to pass a law that would promote the welfare of our barangays.” Ejercito explained that the conference committee agreed to use the Senate version as the working draft. He said after much deliberation, it was agreed upon by the members to hold the next synchronized barangay and sangguniang kabataan elections on the last Monday of October 2023. The subsequent barangay and sangguniang kabataan elections will be conducted every three years thereafter. Senators, voting 17-2-0 on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, have approved Senate Bill No. 1306, which postpones this year's Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections to December, 2023.

Dahil nakataas pa rin ang Signal No. 1 sa ilang bayan sa ating lalawigan, automatic suspended ang klase ng ating mga munting mag-aaral na nasa preschool sa parehong public at private schools alinsunod sa existing Deped guidelines para sa class suspension.

Dapat ay mga bayan lang na nasa eastern portion ng ating lalawigan ngunit isinama na po natin pati mga preschool sa buong lalawigan.

Sa mga abangers na elementary, high school at college pati na rin mga kasama kong nagwowork, tayo na po at pumasok.

May forever na .... sa ating mga certificates 🙌📜 Pasado na ang bill ni Senator B**g Revilla Jr., which means, never na mag e-expire ang ating mga Marriage, Birth at Death CERTIFICATES. Maraming salamat po Sen. B**g Revilla.

Kung dati-rati ay required na dapat at least within six (6) months ang date sa security paper ng mga certificate na ating ipinapasa, this time, bawal na ang mag require ng mas bago, as long as readable at visible ang authenticity ng iyong certificate.
