Once upon a time in the "Land of Gods", Bali.

March is the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S MONTH, so I'm sharing our experience during the International Secretariat Convention, an event consisting of more than 50% of women from different denominations.💪💪💪

Our almost 5-day trip in Bali was probably the most tiring, yet fulfilling trip this 2024... for now🤞😂
Arrived in Bali around 2am, went to bed at 3am, and had to wake up by 6am to put on our national costume because we're raising our flag during the International Conference's Opening Program. 🇵🇭🇵🇭 But despite the insufficient sleep situation, we're able to bag an award for best costume👏👏👏 shoutout to our women with creative minds to make our Maranao-inspired international costume, pulling an all nighter to painstakingly sew our costume was totes worth it🥰.

Throughout our stay, we spent our afternoons going around Nusa Dua, Kuta Selatan and Denpasar spending money like millionaires😂 (Indonesia has some of the most interesting prices! Cha Ching! 💲🏦💵). Transportation can be quite difficult since there's a high risk of getting scammed by taxi drivers, and also the location of our hotel is far from the main road, good thing were able to learn about Gojek (An Uber-like app in Indonesia), they have fair rates and gives you peace of mind from getting scammed specially when you go for a girl's night out only.😉 It takes courage to explore a place where you don't speak the language, but the Balinese people are kind and most of them can speak and understand English so go ahead explore places as much as you can when you visit.

Bali is wonderful. Bali is unique. Bali is love.
