15-Feb. “Jesus said to his disciples: “The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.” Luke 9:22

Today’s Gospel reminds us that “deep love casts out fear”. Just like Jesus, despite the prediction of His death, He never waver. He never stopped. May His fearlessness, determination, and love for humanity will also inspire us to ponder what true love really means. Too often, LOVE is understood as a powerful and good emotion. But the truest form of love is a choice to do what is best for another, regardless of the cost, no matter how difficult. It is selfless.

Lord, we praise You for everything that You’ve done for us all. Thank you for Your sacrificial love and unfathomable mercy that keeps us going each day. Give us the grace we need to avoid all forms of selfish love. We love you, Lord. We trust in You, Mama Mary, pray for us.🙏
