Our dear RicRic underwent cardiac catheterization for hemodynamic study this afternoon. Thanks be to God for the favorable result of the HS. It is possible for his heart to undergo total correction next week.

The protruding sternal wire in RicRic's chest was removed on February 21st, and after an hour of operation, he stayed in the SICU for 7 hours. They prioritized removing the wire to prevent infections in his heart.

There is no exact schedule yet for his cardiac catheterization and open heart surgery. However, we are still admitted to PHC for the completion of the antibiotics.

We went to OPD for a check-up on February 14 due to a sternum wire protruding into his chest. Got referred to a surgeon to see the status of the wire in his chest and recommended to be admitted to the hospital to treat the local infection before removal of the sternum wire. We stayed 24hours at ER and Ric-Ric got admitted to the Philippines Heart Center yesterday (February 15).

We are still waiting for the plan from the doctors for Ric-Ric's surgery if possible to repair his heart at the same time.
