ADVISORY

The OWWA Welfare Assistance Program offers financial assistance to OFW active OWWA members and their dependents. The Calamity assistance are given to members affected by natural disasters (typhoons and earthquakes) or human-made disasters. Active members are entitled to cash assistance of Php 3,000.00.
How to avail:
1. Submission of names by OFW or Next-Of-Kin (NOK) and collection of complete Names of Abra resident OFWs through the assistance of the OWWA-DOLE Field Office Abra and in coordination and support of the following partners:
- Local Government Office and the Migrant Desk Officers/ PESOS
- OFW Family Circles and/ or federations
- Walk In clients at OWWA Offices
- Data base of Returning OFWs during the pandemic assisted under the OWWA Hatid Sundo/ Uwian Na Program
- partner line agencies like the DSWD and DOH

2. Submission of Names to DOLE-OWWA Abra Field Office and OFW Center PLGU

3. Upon receipt of names, OWWA Abra office and RWO-CAR will verify membership status of OFWs.
4. Approved list of Active Abra OWWA members are posted at the OWWA Abra Facebook account, PLGU Facebook account, DZPA Station for announcements, OWWA Baguio Facebook account.

5. Documentary requirements need to be complied with by beneficiaries before the pay-out schedule.
6. Announcement of schedule and venue for payout posted in social media and disseminated through DZPA AM Station. All applicants have to submit complete papers for release of cash calamity assistance.

Note: Succeeding list of active beneficiaries, schedule and venue of payout will be announced and disseminated accordingly.
