Our Story

THE Eastern Samar News Service, or simply ESTE News, is an alternative news organization owned and managed by the Voice of the Word Media Network (VWMN). Its mission is to provide news and feature stories with the end in view of helping people form their own perspective on issues and events relevant to their lives.

The contents of ESTE News are syndicated over DYVW-AM Land Radio, DYVW-FM Online Radio, 4 VW Cable Television Channels, VWMN pages, VWMN Youtube, VW Instagram, VW Twitter, and DYVW Spotify. Some news and feature stories are also uploaded to www.estenews.org and periodically land on its printed broadsheet ESTE.

VWMN is under the auspices of the Commission on Mass Media of the Diocese of Borongan.
