ESC ORIENTATION FOR GRADE 7 PARENTS

On August 20, 2024, the JILCF held an orientation on the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program for our dear Grade 7 parents at the Old Prayer Garden.

The aim of the program is to inform our dear parents about what and how ESC works. The ESC program is a collaborative effort between the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC). It is designed to support our students and improve their learning experience.

We're thrilled to see how the ESC program will benefit our school community and enhance educational opportunities at JILCF.

JHS STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTION KICK-OFF PROGRAM 2024

Today, August 19, 2024, The Junior High School Student Government election kick-off program at the Old Prayer Garden highlighted the essence of servanthood.

Our students get the chance to meet the aspirant young leaders of the Junior High School Department Student Government. The candidates introduced themselves, outlined their goals, and exemplified what it means to be character-driven leaders.

JILians are truly Globally Competitive!

Congratulations to our JILCF delegates for winning and for their outstanding performance at the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad Open Contest Finals 2024 in Incheon, Korea.

Out of 16 countries and 1,600 participants in Asia, JILCF managed to take home medals.

Their success showcases their global competitiveness and dedication. We thank God for this remarkable achievement.

A DAY WITH THE CHANCELLOR

Emphasizing the immense challenge of JILCF in shaping the future, Rev. (Dr.) Eduardo C. Villanueva, School Chancellor, inspired our missionary teachers at the New Prayer Garden on August 2, 2024, to guide JILians in their spiritual growth and become leaders who drive the nation's prosperity.

Reflecting their strong faith through a life of righteousness, our devoted educators walk JILians toward the Holy Spirit, nurturing them to become children of God. Furthermore, he added that educators instill Christian values in their students, bringing Christ’s vision into action.

Therefore, let us take heart with John 1:12 NIV: “Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”

Spending the day with the Chancellor was fruitful, deepening our relationship with Christ and renewing our mission with his wisdom!

JILCF has 125 of its students as part of the delegate of Region III in the national PRISAA Games 2024

The Opening Ceremony of the National Prisaa Games 2024 happened yesterday, July 21, in the Bicol University Sports Complex.

125 delegates from JILCF bring more power and winning chances for Region III.

Additionally, the event was attended by 10,000 delegates from 400 private colleges and universities in 17 regions of the Philippines.

We are all praying for the success and safety of our Jilians. May God’s presence be upon you as you give pride to our school as the home of the champions!

TEACHERS' INSET DAY 3: ANOINTING EDUCATORS TO BE READY FOR S.Y. 2024-2025

Abounding in the JILCF New Prayer Garden with the presence of the Holy Spirit, Rev. Ptr. Joey Crisostomo, BESMI Director and Senior Pastor at JIL Greenhills, delivered an inspiring message, blessing teachers and staff. He emphasized that educators are most anointed when walking in the center of the Holy Spirit.

Dwelling in Christ, Rev. Ptr. Joey Crisostomo encouraged teachers to seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit to excel in the upcoming school year. Indeed, with God’s guidance, our educators are blessed and empowered.

Truly, with God's anointing, our teachers are ready to face S.Y. 2024-2025 with confidence and strength!

Highlighting essential leadership traits on July 18, 2024, guest speaker Ms. Ma. Niña Adriano inspired the JILCF staff and faculty to lead a strengthened life within an empowered institution.

Defining the difference between leaders and managers, she reminded the audience that we will shine as leaders because Christ is within us. Without a doubt, she encouraged everyone to be leaders with confidence and faith.

Preparing for the next school year, on July 18, 2024, teachers gathered at the JILCF New Prayer Garden for the second day of the Annual Convention In-Service Training and Retreat.

Addressing the JILCF faculty, Christian Education Coordinator Mr. John Gabriel Baloloy, emphasized their role as missionary teachers. He highlighted that educators are called by Christ to guide students towards Jesus, reminding them of their vital mission.

With a clear vision of God's call, the teachers and staff are prepared to lead Jilians towards a strengthened life. Their commitment will undoubtedly inspire and transform the hearts of their students!

On July 17, 2024, Administrative Officer Mrs. Rosalinda Ventura reminded our Jilian teachers and staff of the key elements of our faith-driven culture: beliefs, values, norms, and language.

Through her message, we recognize that faith is the core value of our Sintang Paaralan, and that faith is what we will be strengthening—in ourselves and in our beloved Jilian students.

In order for our Sintang Paaralan to soar to greater heights and strengthen our lives, we must lean on the Bible in everything we speak and teach. Kindness, Honesty, Obedience, Courtesy, and Submission are just some norms that we must keep, as JILCF follows a faith-driven culture.

School President Dr. Wenifreda R. Templonuevo welcomes teachers and staff from all the branches of JILCF on this first day of the annual Convention In-Service Training and retreat.
