Classes in Rizal National Science High School are suspended tomorrow, September 2, due to the expected heavy rains from Tropical Depression Enteng.

This is in accordance with the class suspension announced by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the Municipality of Binangonan, Rizal.

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 | Glory, Smiles, and Freedom: RNSHS Under the Buwan ng Wika Craze

Cheers of glory and smiles of freedom painted the Rizal National Science High School communuty. From the fierce exchanging of arguments and the reliving of childhood games, to filling the school with screams of cheers for the faces of each section — the Kabataang Pangarap ni Rizal or KAPARIZ club ended August with a bang.

It was a Friday like nothing else: the school was colored with traditional clothing and colors of the Philippine flag, as everyone was encouraged to throw their uniforms aside for the day and wear the souls of true Filipinos. Truly, it was like time traveling back to “Dekada Singkwenta” for the whole day.

Starting the morning with a heated debate, students threw their arguments back and forth in the Baliktaktakang Risayan, with questions that racked both the contestants and audience’s brains about the usage of our ‘Pambansang Wika’ in various aspects.

Striking while the iron was still hot, the culminating event didn’t end there. It continued with its other activities: Laro ng Lahi, Chis Beez, and Dagliang Talumpati — excitement filled all corners of the school simultaneously.

As the clock hit noon, the quadrangle grew even more heated, cheers being rehearsed — everyone tensed as the long-awaited highlight of the event drew closer: LAKAN AT LAKAMBINI. Not only representing their respective sections, but also freedom, the muses and escorts confidently lit up the stage with their creative traditional attires.

The event ended in rains of glory as the Top 5 candidates were chosen, showing everyone the true definition of Beauty and Brains with their insights in the Q&A. Concluding the KAPARIZ club’s closing with golden rays of victory, this is a day that will never be forgotten.

The Isotopes and Ang Aghamanon, the official student publications of Rizal National Science High School, are set to hold the SPCC 2024 on September 4-6, 2024.

The SPCC consists of the following categories:
a) Writing: news, editorial, features, scitech, sports, and copyreading and headline writing.
b) Graphics: photojournalism, editorial cartooning, and layout and page design.
c) Group: Radio broadcasting

If your are interested in joining the publications, you can fill out the registration form linked below until August 31, 2024, 7 pm.

Onsite classes and offices are suspended on Rizal National Science High School upon air quality and visibility concerns due to the recent volcanic activity of the Taal Volcano.

Modular distance learning shall be implemented to ensure learning continuity amid this suspension. Students are advised to wait for further announcements from their homeroom teachers.

EARLIER: Three weeks after the official start of School Year 2024 - 2025, Rizal National Science High School held a welcome walk for new Grade 7 and 11 students, embracing them into their new community.

Continuing the established RiScian tradition, the activity filled the quadrangle with warmth, smiles, and laughter as new students paraded and interacted with current and older students.

Tomorrow, August 10, marks the day of the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT), where Grade 12 students will take an exam to earn a slot in one of the most esteemed universities in the Philippines.

Their hard work and dedication have brought them to this moment. Let us wish them the clarity of mind, confidence, and perseverance they need to succeed. May this exam be a stepping stone toward their dreams and aspirations.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Before School Year 2024-2025 officially starts, there is one tradition that always fills the school with excitement and promotes cleanliness in the learning environment—the Brigada Eskwela.

This week marked Brigada Eskwela 2024, where Rizal National Science High School opened its gates of excellence once again to welcome students, parents, and community members in preparation for the upcoming school year.

As students handle brooms, dustpans, floor wax, and mops before their academic battles, join The Isotopes in exploring the Riscian community's Brigada Eskwela edition!

Although Brigada Eskwela is only a week-long cleaning activity, it is vital for the Riscian community to continue upholding the importance of maintaining a sanitary learning environment by observing hygienic practices across the school premises.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | RNSHS highlights importance of prepared, well-maintained learning environment on BE 2024

In preparation for the School Year 2024-2025, Rizal National Science High School (RNSHS) kick-started its week-long Brigada Eskwela 2024 today, July 22, highlighting the importance of a well-maintained and sanitary learning environment for conducive learning.

Dr. Lyndel R. David, Principal IV, on the opening program emphasized the school's preparedness for the incoming school year and its importance for the students' learning process.

"Kailangan hindi lamang physically, emotionally, and mentally tayo handa; pati po dapat ang paligid ay nakahanda rin dahil sabi natin mas matututo ang bawat isa kapag malinis at maayos ang kapaligiran," Dr. David said.

Meanwhile, a seminar for grade 7 students commenced at the conference room while grade 12 students proceeded with their cleaning activities on their respective rooms.

More seminars and brigada eskwela activities are scheduled for this week for other grade levels in preparation for the incoming school year.

LOOK: Rizal National Science High School (RNSHS) held Family Day 2023 last December 9 with the theme "Pamilyang Risayan: Tuloy-tuloy sa Pagtugon sa Makabagong Panahon," celebrating with the families of its students.

The event commenced with different tents for each section, filled with foods prepared by the students.

It also included activities such as games, raffles, zumba, and the most-awaited batch presentation of each batch.

Moreover, Family Day has been RNSHS' tradition of celebrating Christmas with its students.

ANOTHER TRUTH WELL TOLD!

LOOK: The Isotopes, Rizal National Science High School's (RNSHS) official English school publication, clinched awards at the Binangonan Sub-office Press Conference (BiSOPC) 2023 for group categories on November 30.

The RNSHS delegation, participating in Radio Script Writing and Broadcasting, TV Script Writing and Broadcasting, Collaborative Desktop Publishing, and Online Publishing, secured Best Group in each category. This achievement qualifies them to represent the sub-office at the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) of Rizal.
