𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 2025: 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀

The idea of a perfect Christmas has long been associated with flashy ornaments, grand parties, expensive gifts, and elegant people. However, it was during a typical sunny morning at Rizal National Science High School when monoblock chairs were arranged, tents were built, and the quadrangle was neatly prepared to house a simple but profound celebration.

The date read December 6, 2025, and it was when two hundred children experienced a distinct, warm embrace—the kind not from typical daycare volunteers, but from Batch 24 Sanghaya, who turned a school project into a genuine act of service. In collaboration with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), they brought to life a special Paskuhang Risayan outreach program with the theme “Liwanag na Handog, Pag-asang Huhubog.”

The occasion opened with words from Sir Neil Pulan and alumni Shannen Pondoc and Abigail Capanang. Not long after, children carrying colorful balloons filled the quadrangle as their laughter echoed through every corner—a sight that made the simplest activities feel like grand celebrations.

Through the lively songs, engaging parlor games, and delectable ice cream treats handed out by the SSLG, the quiet grounds turned into a distinct place for the children to remember, cradling the experiences they once only dreamed of. The student facilitators, though young themselves, managed to create an atmosphere where every child felt welcomed, valued, and safe.

As children went home carrying small tokens and big smiles, the event’s purpose was fulfilled, at last. With persevering hands and a unified vision, the outreach program was able to extend its radiant essence. Indeed, the genuine Christmas spirit is weighed not by what is inside wrappers nor by extensive preparations, but by the mere intention to make every moment count for hearts that yearn for a Christmas memory to cherish.

With the theme “Beyond the Byline: Upskilling Campus Journalists of SDO Rizal,” the young writers of Rizal National Science High School — 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀 — showcased their journalistic excellence and passion for truth well told during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held from October 21 to 22 at Rosario Ocampo Elementary School (ROES).

The awarding ceremony on October 24 at Manuel I. Santos Integrated School marked the culmination of days filled with creativity, dedication, and the spirit of responsible campus journalism. 🌟

𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒖𝒈𝒐𝒏, 𝑫𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒌𝒔𝒚𝒐𝒏 🤝🏻

As of the recent weather bulletin, TCWS No. 4 has been raised over Rodriguez, Rizal, while Signal No. 3 remains in effect across other municipalities of the province of Rizal. The strong winds and heavy rains brought by Typhoon “Uwan” are currently causing damage, displacing families and leaving many in need of urgent help.

In light of these events, the RNSHS SSLG is once again reopening its Tugon RiSayan Project—a long-standing donation drive that seeks to extend aid to those affected by calamities.

With this, we humbly call upon the RiScian community to take part in this collective effort. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹. RiSci holds second earthquake drill for SY 2025 - 2026

The Rizal National Science High School (RNSHS) conducted its second earthquake drill for the school year of 2025 - 2026 on Thursday, September 11, at 3:30 PM.

The drill was facilitated by the RiSci Emergency Action Care and Health (REACH) Club and its subordinate Student Medics and Emergency Response Team (SMERT), observing RiScians' drop, cover, and hold maneuver, and escape to the quadrangle as a designated evacuation center.

Class officers, in cooperation with the SMERTs, responded to the routine, tallying headcounts and ensuring student safety.

The drill's main objective is to enhance RiScians' knowledge in relation to disasters, and strengthen preparedness in response to earthquakes.
