Isa ang Biogas Digester ni Dr. Sony P. Aqunio sa 22 na makabago at makasaysayang teknolohiya mula sa iba’t ibang State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) at mga sentro ng pananaliksik sa bansa na itinampok sa isinagawang 2024 National Agri-Aqua Innovation Pitch Fest (AIPF 2024) noong ika-16, 2024 sa Royce Hotel, Clark City, Pampanga.

Layunin ng AIPF 2024 na bigyang pansin at diin ang mga makabago at makasaysayang teknolohiya at mga solusyon na isinulong ng mga innovators sa sector ng agri-aqua at natural resources. Nagsisilbi itong plataporma upang mapalakas ang pakikipagtulungan at kooperasyon sa pagitan ng mga technology providers, mga inverstors, at iba pang stakeholder tungo sa paglago at pagpapalawak ng mga umuusbong na mga proyekto sa teknolohiya.

Itinampok din ang iba’t ibang produkto ng NVSU gaya ng spoondigo, citrus cider, mandarin juice, at citro vino sa booth ng Cagayan Valley.

𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗼𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗣𝗠𝗦!

Malugod na binabati ng NVSU Research, Extension and Training Program sina G. Eduard P. Bragado at G. Ramon P. Bangao, Jr. sa kanilang matagumpay na pagtatapos mula sa 2nd Technology Promotion Mentorship Series (TPMS) na ginanap noong ika-15 ng Agosto, 2024 sa Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

Ang TPMS ay isang pagsasanay na isinagawa sa loob ng 15-araw na idinisenyo ng DOST-PCAARRD para sa programang RAISE, na naglalayong itaguyod ang mga teknolohiya at produkto na bunga ng mga pananaliksik at pagsusumikap sa R&D ng mga kasaping ahensya sa iba’t ibang rehiyon. Partikular sa NVSU, ang teknolohiya/produktong kanilang isinulong ay ang “Biogas Digester” at “Pinoy Organisecticide.”

Ang TPMS ay nagsilbing plataporma para sa iba’t ibang unibersidad at mga ahensya ng gobyerno sa buong bansa upang mapalakas ang kanilang agri-aqua technologies patungo sa komersyalisasyon na isinagawa mula Hunyo 11 hanggang ika-15 ng Agosto.

Bilang isa sa mga nagtapos, nagbahagi naman ng kaniyang impresyon si G. Bragado, bilang bahagi ng mga ahensyang mentee ng nasabing mentorship series.

“Maraming salamat, lalo na sa ating mga mentor na humubog sa aming mga kasanayan at talento upang higit pang mapaunlad ang pagtataguyod ng teknolohiya sa aming mga institusyon,” sabi ni Bragado.

LOOK | RAISE Cagayan Valley Team conducts Benchmarking Activity in Pampanga State Agricultural University's Office of Innovation

Dr. Sony P. Aquino, NVSU IPTBM Project Leader, along with Mr. Eduard P. Bragado, Project Technical Assistant II, and Mr. Ramon P. Bangao, Project Support Staff, participated in a two-day Benchmarking Activity on August 12-13, 2024, at the Pampanga State Agricultural University's Office of Innovation.

The focus of the activity was to learn best practices in Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) and the Sibul Technology Business Incubation (TBI) with the aim of enhancing Cagayan Valley's RAISE program implementation led by Isabela State University and its component projects in Nueva Vizcaya State University, Batanes State College, Cagayan State University, Quirino State University and DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Region 2.

As part of the College 14th Foundation Anniversary the College of Business Education - Student Council organized a Seminar Cum Awareness Campaign with the theme "Innovate, Protect & Prosper: Empowering Business Students through Seminar and Awareness Campaign" on May 2, 2024 at Sabatan Techno-Hub.

LOOK: NVSU IPTBM conducts Intellectual Property Awareness Seminar-Workshop for Engineering Students in NVSU Bambang

The Nueva Vizcaya State University - Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines Student Edition (NVSU-ICpEP.se) Chapter in collaboration with the NVSU IPTBM Office conducted a seminar-workshop entitled "Intellectual Property Awareness Seminar-Workshop for Engineering Students in NVSU Bambang" on April 22-23, 2024 at NVSU Bambang Training Center.

The seminar-workshop disseminated basic information about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) to the Engineering students enrolled in Methods of Research, Design and Practice 1, as well as Thesis 1 subjects and its significance in Protecting Innovation and Creativity, Ethical Research Practices and in Fostering Entrepreneurship.

The Engineering students have learned a comprehensive understanding of the significance and application of the Intellectual Property Rights in their academic and professional endeavors.

The lectures on the seminar-workshop was facilitated by: Dr. Sony P. Aquino (Project Leader, NVSU IPTBM), Ms. Flormelyn D. Tumenez (Project Staff), and Dr. Jenaida B. Aquino (Project Support Staff).

A total of 82 Engineering students taking up BS Computer Engineering, BS Electronics and Communications Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, and BS Electrical Engineering have attended the said activity.

LOOK: NVSU IPTBM Project Staff attends in the Semi-Annual Review of IPTBM Projects at QSU Cabarroguis

A Semi-Annual Monitoring and Evaluation of DOST-PCAARRD Funded Projects of IPTBM RAISE Program in Cagayan Valley was conducted today, April 29, 2024, at Quirino State University, Cabarroguis Campus, Quirino Province.

Dr. Sony P. Aquino, the IPTBM Project Leader of the "Project 1A. Enhancement of IPTBM Office in Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) through the RAISE Program in Cagayan Valley", presented the accomplishment of the project to the DOST-PCAARRD Technology Transfer and Promotion Division Team. He was accompanied by the Project Technical Assistant II, Mr. Eduard P. Bragado, for the monitoring and evaluation of the project accomplishments.

The TTPD Team commended NVSU IPTBM Team for being the first and only CMI to conduct the re-echo seminar within the second quarter of project implementation with 50 NVSU faculty members trained in Intellectual Property management.

The activity was participated by the RAISE Program implementers in Cagayan Valley under the leadership of Dr. Eva U. Cammayo of Isabela State University along with its component projects in NVSU, Batanes State College, Quirino State University, Cagayan State University and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and ATBI, ABH and KM Project of Isabela State University.

Ms. Mae A. Dagaas, DOST-PCAARRD SSRS of TTPD, reiterated the DOST guidelines and instructions on project management to effectively implement the project deliverables and on time submission of necessary documents to be accomplished by the project team in each CMI.

Obtial, Emergency Instructor of the College of Industrial Technology (NVSU Bambang Campus), on the 5th IPOPHL-DLSU IP and Innovation Research Conference last April 5, 2024, during the 11th DITECH Fair of De La Salle University from April 3-5, 2024, with the theme "Catalyst for Change: Innovation and Intellectual Property for the Advancement of SDGs".
