He started his film career as a production designer and gradually moved into directing. He made several great episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya like Cake, Barya and Galon to name a few. His movies were both critical and box-office successes with the likes of Family of Two, Family Matters, Miracle in Cell No. 7 and A Secret Affair. He is an award-winning director who has helmed some of the greatest thespians in the country. A wonderful person who believes in the power of media and the search for truth, he is a person who is not only filled with greatness but one who has a loving heart as well. And this initial media conference has gathered some of the esteemed and experienced speakers and judges in the field. Sir Ace Medrano is news anchor and broadcast journalist now with IBC News. He formerly anchored Balitang Southern Tagalog for the GMA Regional TV. His expertise and great work ethic is something that is commendable and is to be emulated by a lot of young journalists. Some great personalities shared their video messages to the CLIMB members. Lourd Ramos is a well known hair stylist who is famous not only in the Philippines but also in Asia. And while he has moved into a totally different realm, he traces his roots back in the world of journalism with a degree in AB Communication Arts/Journalism. He is the CEO of Creations Salon and has been styling several celebrities in the country. He has appeared in Asia's Next Top Model and is currently the Mr. Gay World Philippines 2024 1st Runner-up.
