Embrace that pain. Own it. Then, let it go.

You deserve to feel relieved from the pain that once took your life into the prison of sorrow. One day, you can say, "I did it." Before that day comes, let that pain be felt because that pain is a testament to how strong you are to conquer these battles in your life.

That pain is your stepping stone to a better version of yourself. The version that no longer lingers on the pain and settles for the less but a version that is braver to face the new fights of life.

A version that bears hope and a beacon of hope for others.

"your feelings are valid"

Life is getting tough every single day, and you are, too. What you feel is valid, and you have the right to feel that way for whatever reason. Accept that not everything is in your favor, and you cannot control everything.

If you feel like crying, let it out.

If you feel like shouting, do it.

If you feel like you're in pain, embrace it.

If you feel lost, you can find your way out there. Let the light beyond all these feelings guide you toward hope and courage.

You have what it takes to feel that way and conquer.

We may not have a lot to say, but by listening, it is more than enough for them to feel a little less weighty.

It's okay to regret sitting down for a little while with them than to regret a lifetime without them 🫂🥺

there are more than what we ever imagine but please don't let it imprison you. Don't let it steal your life 🙏🏻

To everyone carrying a heavy heart, know that you are not alone. It's okay to be confused, hurt, broken and such. If it feels heavy, sleep. If you feel confused, eat. If you feel stranded, speak.

If you know someone is struggling, give them a little hope "it's gonna be okay, in God's perfect time" 🫂

It's not always an easy journey, but young people, be a little patient to yourself. Give yourself time and always see the brighter side of these adversities because GOD LISTENS. GOD STAYS no matter what.

Isang eyy 🤙🏻 nga dyan 11HumSS of SJSKI, 2024!

As I stumble upon these photos in my gallery, I remember one of my nostalgic journeys as a young budding speaker. As I relived the moments captured in each frame, a wave of gratitude washed over me for everyone involved in creating such a lasting memory. This was more than just an experience; it was a cornerstone of cherished recollections.

One particular segment of that day stands out vividly. When I prompted the students to share their thoughts and reflections. I had no idea the depth of emotion it would evoke. Tears began to flow unexpectedly.

Then, one student, amidst her sobs managed a heartwarming smile as she uttered, "si Ma'am kasi" 😄

This simple statement was a testament to the powerful impact we can have on young lives.

While I may not have fully comprehended the specific challenges they faced, I believe I was able to provide support and encouragement during a difficult time. Witnessing this moment was immensely fulfilling 🥰

NBDB Certificate of Registration as an Author/Writer 🧡💙

Last April 6, I received a great blessing from the National Book Development Board (NBDB) of the Philippines that my certificate is ready for pick-up at LBC, Lagawe Branch. I wasn't able to go that day because I have other plans.

On April 8, I traveled to Lagawe for that only reason. I was so overwhelmed and excited that I didn't notice, I already opened it. I even cried after seeing and reading the certificate.

It's been almost 4 months since I physically launched my book but it still felt like yesterday. I am so grateful 🤗

To our Almighty Father, who never left me behind despite all my excuses and challenges throughout this book writing and now being an author.

To my parents, siblings, book writing coach, editor, layout artist, fellow local authors, sponsors, my beloved readers and to everyone who supported me in one way or the other - agyamanak unay. You taught me a lot and gave me the courage to continue moving forward.

This is GODs not mine alone - to God be the highest glory 🙏

a first time experience I will forever be grateful for -

This journey was on March 27, a day before the Paschal Triduum. It was fine and sunny weather when we reached the end of the road but in the afternoon, strong winds and heavy rains started to pour. After an hour of waiting for the rain to stop, we decided to walk in the rain with our improvised plastic raincoats.

It was a journey filled with blessings because it was the first time it rained at Banao ever since the summer season started. As well as, it also poured rains to places where extreme heat is bothersome.

In life, we sometimes need to walk in the rain in order to conquer and move forward. No matter how long or far the journey is, as long as you have God in your life, you will get through it.

Having these people in my life is like having a light in the darkest night 🫶

We appreciate your presence, love and support during the 20th Charter Anniversary Book Fair held on March 19-21, 2024 at the 2nd fl. Library Building, NVSU, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya 🫰

It was my first time to attend and be part of such activity and the support of everyone (students, non-students, staff, faculty, & visitors) is overflowing and heartwarming.

Looking forward to more like this in the future.

HALAA, KAMUKHA NIYA!!? 🫣😅

A group of students came in at the library looking at our different books, one student walked towards and loudly said, "halaa, kamukha niya!?" while looking at me and my photo in the book. Then, laughing is the only response 😂

This day was not meant for this, but God really works in mysterious ways as someone who sent me a message this morning made me realize. A simple "excess" made me reflect and realized a lot to which I am so grateful for.

While on my way to NVSU, I honestly don't know where it is and how to get there, the only thing I have in mind was, I need to be there and I want to be there. Little did I know, I was already at the main gate of NVSU in which I entered seeing the library in where the book fair will be held.

We always have a risk to take, no matter what the result will be, what's important is how the process of getting there made us learn a lot.

As this day concludes with laughter and smiles, I also want to end this day with thanksgiving. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and for inviting us, local authors, to become part of this. So, here's a sneak peak of my evening table - trying different coffee 🫣 Last week we went to Kalinga where coffee is served any time of the day. You can have it while breakfast, lunch, dinner and even midnight. Now, I am having Kalinga coffee in my own cup.

Yah, I guess being surrounded with coffee lovers (or should I say coffee addicts HAHA) made me become one 😅

at Tabuk City, Kalinga 👣🧡

It was a very fulfilled weekend to be part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Bontoc-Lagawe during the Northern Luzon Regional Youth Coordinating Council Meeting last March 8-10, 2024 at Bulanao, Tabuk, Kalinga.

This experience led me to have a deeper understanding and reflection on why God chose this path for me. It deepens my relationship to God and to my mission as a youth minister.

Another chapter unlocked 🎉
