This chapter of my life is called “evanescence”
Evanescence comes from the Latin evanescere meaning "disappear, vanish." It is a word typically used to describe an event that fades from sight or memory, or sometimes the fleeting quality of worldly success. These 2 years felt so long when it was just starting. I met new people, faced new challenges, picked up great lessons, encountered new skills and talents, and I felt foreign emotions I didn’t know existed. Just like that, these 730 days of being in the senior years of highschool swiftly disappeared and now feels like a dream. It feels bitter and scary but seems satisfying at the same time. It excites me and I can’t wait to see more of the journey God prepared for me in the next chapter of this story. I just have to keep going.

Celebrated “Algon di Immipugo; IIBA culture and heritage day 2023” last April 29,2023. It is a heartwarming experience to be a part of this event and be able to capture the beauty of the smiles, culture, and tradition of my fellow immipugo or my fellow Ifugao people.

That day I just realized that falling in love with a culture is possible and I want to share that experience with you guys through these pictures. Enjoy!
