We cannot earn salvation- we can only accept it. As Ephesians 2:8-9 says to those who have accepted this gift...

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Right now, wherever you are, you can accept this wonderful gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Heaven! Just truthfully and sincerely pray something like this (the words that you use aren't what is important- it is the meaning that is important)-

"Dear Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and I'm lost without you. I turn away from my sins and turn to you. Please save me! I believe you are God, you died on the cross to pay for my sins, and you overcame death by rising from the dead. Thank you Lord for saving me!"
