After two weeks of venturing into the world of research and all its meticulous grinds, let us look back on this year’s Research Expo, which gave Grade 11 students a sneak peek into the anxiety and sleepless nights that Practical Research 1 has in store for them.
As a love letter to research and its role in our society, the broadcasting department prepared a mini documentary detailing this memorable part of Senior High School.

RECAP:
With the start of holiday breaks in SDCA, let's take a look back at the events that unfolded right before the well-deserved break, focusing particularly on the celebrated Founder's Week of the institution. Dominican Vanguard presents something for you to reminisce about while enjoying your vacation.
The Founder's Week kicked off with a vibrant celebration of wits and strategy with Dominican Checkmates and Dynamic Sports Club's 'Dominican Domination,' especially the Mobile Legends Tournament that piqued a lot of interest from the students.
Right after the eventful competition, the Elementary department showed off their Disney-themed performances that left the audiences in the Bacoor Government Center (BGC) in awe with their cuteness and passion to truly captivate the essence of their chosen animated films.
With that, the JHS Department also made themselves known with thought-provoking performances and costumes. Their performances showed a heavy incorporation of cultural diversity and Filipino resiliency that truly left both judges and audiences alike captivated.
Lastly, as one of the main core values of SDCA—service, the celebration of the institution's Founder's Week would not be complete without it. Spearheaded by the Supreme Student Councils of JHS and SHS, as well as Interact, "DominiHearts," as they call it, has demonstrated the core value of service with goods and other basic needs donated to the community of Bayanan.

At the celebration of the 20th Founding Anniversary of St. Dominic College of Asia in Bacoor Gymnasium Center (BGC) dated Nov. 25, the throne that was veiled upon by numerous candidates was taken.
For the Elementary Department or 'Little Mr. and Ms. SDCA 2023,' the crowned king and queen have shown that excellence and elegance know no age. Marckie Yurie Lee, a Grade 6 student from Severino Lapidario, left the Dominican community in awe with his passion, humor, and wits. Along with him is the newly-crowned Little Ms. SDCA from Grade 1, Maximo Inocencio, Marynell Porcioncula, whose youthful radiance can be felt throughout the venue.
Meanwhile, the JHS Department welcomes two of its winners from the 8th Grade. Specifically from Vito Belarmino, Sandler Skye De Leon has been hailed as Mr. Tween SDCA along with five special awards he bagged. With him is Ms. Tween SDCA from Edilberto Evangelista—Stephanie Del Rosario whose flashy yellow dress, paired with her firm answer in the QnA portion, truly captivated the audience.
To complete the set of winners, the competition in the SHS Department has left many in awe and anticipation. With each candidate fighting to the grit, Timothy Oliveros of Grade 12 STEM - Blaise Pascal shone in the gymnasium— proving that he is indeed worthy of the Mr. Teen SDCA title.
While a gown that is as scarlet as her passion for winning, Jewel Ann Palma of Grade 11 STEM - Galileo Galilei stunned the audience with her alluring and elegant performance throughout the day that paved the way for her victory to the throne of Ms. Teen SDCA.

Kahit na kamakailan lamang naibalita na bumaba na ang 'Vog' sa paligid ng bulkan, hindi dapat balewalain ang posibleng panganib na dala nito.

Back to school!
Watch here as Dominicans enter campus grounds after three years of online classes and hybrid modalities.
Notice how a new "organization" popped up after a string of tragedies occurred in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana.
I heard a rumor that a group of students from Hawkins formed a group to investigate and unravel the truth behind the sudden disappearance (and appearance) of their peers. Is it the mysterious "Dominican Vanguard," perhaps?
Are you willing to join hands with the group to discover the truth that goes beyond the deepest depths of the upside down?
Join us as we paint the town red. Applications closes on September 2!
