some story time:

been busy the past days with vet visits because this big baby got sick 😞 thankfully I was off work these last days and was able to run around to check on this baby and take him to the vet hospital.

one of the things that I realized, that I am in a much better place now than I was a year ago. I couldn't imagine how we are able to cover the expenses for the vet if I was still where I was last year.

I am truly grateful for the (almost) financial freedom that I am able to sleep without worrying too much about finances, kasi kahit paano, kaya na 🥹 And this thought made me tear up when I was looking at how much the vet bills were.

I saw one puppy that was abandoned in the vet hospital because his owners are not able to come up with money to pay the bills. It's not cheap when our furbabies get sick. But in hindsight maybe they just wanted to make sure he gets the best care, instead of just waiting for him to pass on without doing anything.

I pray that furparents would always have enough to pay the bills for when the vet visits are needed, but more than that, I pray that all our furbabies stay healthy as they are that vet confinement would not be needed. 🩵

Watched Buruguduystunstugudunstuy with Ate Owen tonight 🩵🫶 Everything was so well-crafted - from the set design, to the costumes, to the choreography and the songs. The story was simple, but they made it work.
