Let us take this opportunity to reflect on and honor his life and unwavering faith. Everyone is warmly invited to join the Eucharistic Celebration at 7:00 AM in the CSA-B St. Augustine Chapel, which also honors the Feast of Sto. Niño de Cebu.

LOOK: - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Pharmacy honored Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSAB) during the Oath-Taking Ceremonies for new pharmacists on December 12 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City. CSAB received recognition for its exceptional performance in the November 2024 Pharmacist Licensure Exams, where it ranked 3rd among the nation’s top-performing schools.

With an impressive overall passing rate of 94.83%, CSAB stood out with a 100% passing rate among first-time takers. This achievement places CSA-B alongside prestigious institutions such as the University of the Philippines and Adamson University (Rank 1) and the University of San Carlos (Rank 2), further solidifying its reputation as one of the leading pharmacy schools in the country, and the finest in Western Visayas.

Representing the school at the ceremony on behalf of School President Rev. Fr. Jose Rene Delariarte, OSA, were Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Randdie Cuelo, College of Health and Allied Professions Dean, Dr. Reyma Magbanua, and Pharmacy Program Head, Mr. James Senido, RPh.

This recognition highlights CSAB’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to producing top-tier pharmacy professionals. Soar higher, CSA-B! Viva San Agustin!!!

Baguio City, Philippines – A proud moment for Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod as CHAP Council Governor Jessie James Perez emerged as the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 (𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲) during the 62nd NRYLI-National Rizal Youth Leadership Institute held from December 5 to 9, 2024, at the iconic Baguio Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City.

Competing against 23 schools from all over the Philippines, Perez captivated the judges and audience with his eloquence, wit, and passion, embodying the ideals of Dr. Jose Rizal in his speech. The event gathered the brightest young minds and leaders from across the nation, fostering a spirit of excellence and patriotism.

The annual event, hosted by the Knights of Rizal, is a platform for young leaders to showcase their talents, intellect, and patriotism. This remarkable achievement underscores Perez’s dedication and hard work, as well as the unwavering support of his mentors, peers, and the entire CSA-B community.

LOOK : Jessie James Perez, governor of the Student Council of the College of Health and Allied Professions, triumphed in the Oratorical Speech Contest during the 62nd National Rizal Leadership Institute held from December 5 to 9 at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City.

Perez bested 23 participants from institutions across the country, impressing judges with his eloquence and embodiment of Dr. Jose Rizal’s ideals. The annual leadership institute, which gathers student leaders nationwide, aims to promote Rizal's values of patriotism, integrity, and excellence.

Joining Perez at this national gathering were fellow student leaders from CSA-B: Joylyn Concepcion, Jenny Marie Rafael, Ellen Shane Panag, Allysa Mae Galan, and Michael Galo.

Perez's victory and the involvement of his peers highlight the strong student leadership culture at CSA-B, inspiring fellow Augustinians to follow in their footsteps. Congratulations and soar higher, Augustinians!!!

With the theme "Rizalian LeaderSHIFT," the event officially kicked off with a grand Opening Formal Program, bringing together student leaders from across the nation. Meany, SJ Service Award by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU). The recognition highlights Dr. Magbanua’s exemplary contributions to nursing education and her commitment to fostering quality assurance in academic programs.

A staunch advocate for excellence in nursing education, Dr. Magbanua has played a crucial role in advancing the standards of nursing programs through rigorous accreditation processes. Her active involvement in PAASCU's consultancy and survey visits has been instrumental in ensuring that nursing education in the Philippines meets and exceeds national and international benchmarks.

The College of Health and Allied Professions (CHAP) captured hearts and ignited the Christmas spirit as they proudly secured 2𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧-𝙐𝙥 at the 𝙇𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢: 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙎𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙂 2024 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣. This unforgettable performance highlighted the unity, creativity, and passion of the CHAP community.

Under the guidance of CHAP council adviser Mr. James Bill Garbanzos, and with the active participation of council officers Jessie James Perez, Gwen Labador, Charity Buenaflor, Michael Galo, Erika Jane Bonghanoy, Janessa Bustamante, Marijo Diocares, Fritz Sindol, and Benedict De Los Reyes, the team delivered a spectacular act filled with music, dance, and heartfelt storytelling.

Their performance opened with a soulful rendition of "Kwento ng Pasko", portraying the essence of Christmas through acts of giving and kindness. The audience was moved by their creative storytelling, which emphasized the joy of sharing love and compassion during the holiday season. The energy soared during their vibrant and playful dance number to "Kembot Mo Baby", with a delightful twist — a Santa Claus in cosplay distributing candies to the crowd, spreading cheer and smiles.

The team’s dedication to embodying the true meaning of Christmas—love, joy, and generosity—shone throughout their act. Their dynamic performance not only showcased their talents but also brought people together to celebrate the season’s spirit.

The CHAPamilya proved that the magic of Christmas goes beyond competition. Their hard work, teamwork, and creativity reminded everyone that the holidays are about giving and sharing happiness with others.

𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣 - 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙋 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚: 𝘼 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Last November 5, 2024, Mr. and Ms. San Agustin - CHAP representative Chermaine Semillano and Justin Cuachon took their love and compassion to the Home of hope, a sanctuary for children in need. With open hearts, they brought joy through games, shared snacks, and presented thoughtful gifts, creating memories that will last a lifetime. It wasn’t just an outreach event—it was a moment of connection, of spreading warmth, and reminding these children that they are seen, loved, and worthy of happiness. Just 10 days later, on November 15, they stood proud as the 2nd Runner-Up at the Mr. and Ms. San Agustin pageant—a recognition not just of beauty, but of purpose.
