* First airplane ride
* Getting to know her first pet
* Playing bahay bahayan with Mommy

* Coloring and enjoying her birthday gift while waiting for Mommy finish work
* Sad because she wanted to go with Mommy to work
This month is full of firsts for our Faye and I’m so glad that I can share her many first by being there on every step of the way. She’s no longer that infant that I only nurtured in my arms, but my little explorer with many kakulitans. The way I express my love to her now will have a lot of challenges. The purest love I can receive this Valentines is the love I get from my kids. Working from home gives me the privilege of just being there for them. Ate Elie shows her love with her pa cute and kulit when I’m working. She randomly gives me food when I’m too busy to eat. Sometimes she quietly sits beside me when I’m in meetings. She will hug or kiss me when I feel pressured and stressed. How do you like your Tee? Hot and refreshing? Or chilled and over-ice?
Meet my family.
You could say that my family is a little bit of both.
We aren’t as complicated or as luxurious as other families. We do have a few luxuries here and there, but ultimately, just like the tea, we are plain, simple, refreshing. Add a little bit of honey and we are sweet and delightful.
Right now it’s just the three of us.
My hubby/daddy who writes, and is constantly battling the urge to play computer games but can’t since he loved our little baby. Me the doctor-wife who more often than not, tells Daddy what to do and when to throw the trash. And finally, our little Elie girl who isn’t so little when she’s running around the house and pulling daddy and mommy from their usual working positions to do little dances or read her stories.
And that’s about it for this family!
Just so you know, it might have been daddy who wrote this thing. I may be a doctor but I’m not that eloquent. SO its either Daddy or Elie. You decide. = )
