I can go back whenever I want naman.

In case it wasn't obvious before, it's not just one old dude in France. That's just the one man they caught and they only caught him only because he was arrested for something else he did. This was after a decade of him drugging and r-ping his wife.

It's also not just the 80+ others he invited to r-pe his wife after he drugged her, only 50 who were caught and tried.

No, it's not all m-n. But it's a lot of em and a hell of others enabling them.

Isa sa mga nakikita kong post sa mga Prulife agents ang pagkukumpara sa SSS VS Prulife pero ano nga ba ang totoong kwento sa likod na ito? Tara isa-isahin natin:

1. Payment terms: Sa SSS magbabayad ka ng contribution hangga’t hindi ka pa nakaka-receive ng pension but lahat naman ng binayad mo after 4-7years ng nakakareceive ka ng pension ay BAWI MO NA LAHAT NG BINAYAD MO while sa prulife ay magbabayad ka daw diumano ng 7,10 and 15 years pero hangga’t intact pa ang policy mo ay may charges parin at habang tumatanda ay tumataas ang charges na iyon.

2. Pension/retirement fund na makukuha: Sa SSS ay makakakuha ng pension pagdating ng age 60 or 65 years old na kung saan makakakuha ka sa ngayon ng 20,000+ (with SSS booster) at possible na tumaas pa ang pension rate in the future dahil need ito makasabay sa inflation kahit papaano while sa Prulife ay walang kasiguraduhan na malaki ang makukuha mo dahil sa mga sandamakmak na charges lalo na ang agents commission sa vul nila na kung saan usually 40-65% ng binabayad mo on the first year ay napupunta sa agents up to 5th year ng pagbabayad mo, idagdag mo pa ang insurance charge, management fee, policy fee, top-up charge,withdraw charge at kung ano-ano pang charges na usually wala nang halos natitira sa retirement fund na pangako nila.

3. Accident coverage A.k.a mamamatay ka due to accident: Sa SSS, kapag namatay ka any reasons at may maiiwan kang mga dependents gaya ng maliit na anak ay makakatanggap sila ng pension hanggang matapos nila ang k-12 or kung wala ka namang anak ang lahat ng naihulog mo ay maibibigay sa immediate family mo na walang bawas at may tubo pa. While sa PRULIFE makaka receive ka nga pero isang beses nga lang, dapat mamatay ka due to accident at dagdag nanaman sa binabayaran mo sa premium nila para ka cover ka ng accident. Another cost nanaman sa insurance policy mo while sa SSS walang additional charge.

4. Disability coverage: Sa SSS may partial disability at total disability na kung saan, LIFETIME KA MAKAKARECEIVE NG PENSION while sa Prulife ay isang beses ka nga lang makakatanggap at need mo pa na totally bedridden ka pa. Kung mabulag ang isang mata mo ay wala kang makukuha dahil need mo na totally lantang gulay ka. Another cost nanaman sa insurance policy mo while sa SSS walang additional charge.

5. Critical illness coverage: Sa SSS walang coverage sa Critical illness dahil hindi naman ito Philhealth at while sa prulife may critical illness coverage nga pero madaming conditions para ma-avail mo yan at sa ibang insurance companies eh stage 1 cancer hindi cover at possible sa Prulife hindi rin thru VUL policy nila.

6. Funeral assistance: hindi na 20k ang sa sss dahil itinaas na ito sa 60k na walang additional cost while sa prulife makakatanggap ka ng millions pero malaki din ang premium na babayaran mo. May mga term insurance na napaka mura. Hindi ito inaalok ng mga taga Prulife dahil hindi kasama ang term insurance sa pinapangarap nilang travel incentives, awards and promotions.

7. Total contributions: Like I said sa number 1, mababawi mo agad ang mga hinulog mo within 4-7years at the redt ng buhay mo na nakakareceive ka ng pension ay tubo o kita mo na while sa Prulife ay after 30-40 years pa bago ka mag break-even sa mga binayad mo at possible pa na mawala ang policy mo dahil sa mga tumataas na charges habang tumatanda ka.

Ohhh wait Prulife, may maternity benefit ka ba? Hospital allowance na maari kang mag claim ng ilang beses and unemployment benefit?

Admittedly hindi sapat ang SSS sa ating retirement kaya dagdagan ito ng mga iba pang investments para tumaas pa ang ating retirement fund but hindi ang VUL (insurance na may investment) dahil lamang ang panglalalamang ng insurance product na ito sa mga tao at mas malaki ang pakinabang ng insurance agents at companies sa VUL.
