10th RURUMBA ADVENTURE RACE

-it's not about winning, it's all about the experience. I was able to go beyond my limits physically and mentally, i thought i won't able to cross the line, but i was very thankful to my teammates Maylene Gazo Leaño Aldrin Rabocarsal Lobos who did not give up until the end.

Hiraya is taken from an ancient Filipino word meaning the “fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations”, originated from the popular phrase “Hiraya Manawari,” which generally means “may the wishes of your heart be granted”.

As inspired by the popular phrase, Our Name was also derived from the word "Iraya," which in Ni-Norte-Samarnon means "far flung area" or "very isolated place". Silvino Lubos Northern Samar was once known as Iraya because it is located in the mountains, middle of the Northern Samar, far from civilization. To get there, take an 8 to 10 hour upstream motorboat ride from Pambujan Northern Samar River, or take a long walk across the several mountains of Mondragon Northern Samar. As a result, Silvino Lubos has been subjected to a great deal of discrimination and criticism.

We, Silvinonhon People, have always hoped and dreamed of allowing everyone to see how beautiful and wonderful Silvino Lubos is, and as a result, each of us has done and continues to do our very best in order to realize our dream of seeing Silvino Lubos bloom as other places have.

As time passes, civilization gradually takes hold, making life easier. As part of Hiraya Adventure Park's mission, we'll take you on a fantastic adventure so you can see for yourself the wonders of Silvino Lubos. By that, we had already achieved our goals and dreams, as granted by the popular phrase "Hiraya Manawari" , "may your heart's desires be granted".
