ENSO Technical Consultancy & Training Services (ENSOTCTS) is a newly registered business and it’s a nationally owned business under Papua New Guinea’s Business Act, which will be wholly owned subsidiary of ENSORIGINS Limited. The core operational targets for ENSOTCTS are specifically to deal with ICT, Heavy Equipment & Plaint, Heavy & Light Vehicle and Workplace Health & Safety to provide technical consultancy and training services as a major division within ENSOTCTS.

ENSOTCTS was established on 28/07/15 as a Technical Consultancy and Training Services, due to the changing built environment and the growing needs of our Clients; it will become necessary to broaden the services that could be provided by ENSOTCTS, so as to offer multi-disciplinary mechanical, information technology and electrical engineering services under one banner.

ENSOTCTS has continued to strive towards becoming a complete multi-disciplinary practise offering our Clients the specialist individual skills and solutions required by an ever-changing project environment. ENSOTCTS sees teamwork on every project as the key success element and is responsible for creating this environment. The over-all project manager is duty-bound in ensuring efficient and regular communication to all stakeholders and at all levels.

ENSOTCTS believes in a hands-on approach on all projects. That is why a Director of the firm will always be in control of the key functions on our projects. Common Computer Issues
Before we start here some terms to be aware of:

The terms PC (personal computer), system, computer system here refers to laptops or desktops
Hardware- refers to physical devices like printers, mouse, keyboard, monitor (screen), modems, external hard drives, etc ...sometimes referred to as ‘device’ only..
Software- refers to the Operating Systems (Windows 7, Vista, XP, etc), Applications/Programs (MS Word, Excel, Explorer, Firefox, VLC (media player)

Firmware is software that’s installed on a small memory chip on a hardware device. Firmware allows hardware to be updated.

(Device) Drivers – Software programs that enable system hardware to communicate with the operation system to perform respective functions e.g printer drivers link the printer to the computer so that printing is possible...most computer device drivers are either preinstalled or come on CDs when purchased.

Overview of Issues
80/20 Rule
*80% of the symptoms you see on your computer are caused by 20% of the possible issues
-meaning most of the time you going to see the same thing occurring on computer system, after computer system, after computer system...so you should eventually become accustomed to the issues and attend to it with a preventive approach.80% percent of the time you will attend this 20% of recurring issues that could be the possible cause, hehehehehe
-Hardware vs. Software – In general, a large percentage of computer symptoms are Software Related vs. Hardware Related; things like Operating Systems, Applications, device Drivers, Firmware are going to be causes of your problems
-Do not discount Hardware as the possible cause of your problem; hardware really depends on the length of time you have owned the computer or environment you work in, it could be hot and humid, lack of ventilation, dirt & dust may easily collect on your system. It might be possible, hardware is more of a problem here as opposed to a new laptop working in a nice and clean, well ventilated environment than software could be the issue....remember, most of the time we opt for cheap second hand laptops too
