Mochai Luciana Tazia Tasin: Condolences.
Dear Mom,
We miss you more than words can express. It's hard to believe that you're no longer here with us. We have so many fond memories of you that we will always treasure. Your love, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of so many pikinini Man and Meri, and we feel blessed to have had you as our mother.
Even though you're no longer physically here, we know that you're watching over us and guiding us from above. We feel your presence in the little things - a butterfly that lands on my shoulder, a favourite song that comes on the radio, or a beautiful sunset.
Thank you for all the love, support, and guidance you gave me throughout our life. You will always hold a special place in our heart, and we will cherish your memory forever.
Rest in peace, Mom.
With all your son's and daughter's love ❤️

A symbol of grace that endlessly grows.
Its beauty unmatched by any other,
A sign of God's love, a wonder to discover.
The water cascades down with power,
A sight to behold, a marvel to devour.
Its thundering roar, a hymn to the divine,
Reminding us of God's mercy and design.
The waterfall sings of life anew,
A message of hope, both pure and true.
As it washes away the stains of old,
Its cleansing power a gift to behold.
So let us stand in awe and wonder,
At this symbol of God's grace and thunder.
For from the highest peak, the waterfall flows,
A reminder of His love that forever grows.
The journey of a missionary is often challenging and uncertain. Despite this, we feel called to serve with passion and dedication. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve in Possen and share the message of hope and love with the people there.
As we embark on this journey, we acknowledge that success is not guaranteed. However, we trust in our purpose and are committed to serving to the best of our abilities. I'm thankful for Anutu's protection over me and my team as we arrived safe in Kewamugl.
We recognize that this mission will require patience, perseverance, and faith. Yet, we remain steadfast in our conviction to bring light into the lives of those we meet along the way.
Missionary Life and Challenges
This is to all Buffaloes. Now, let me say this with pride: Once a Buffalo, always a Buffalo!
Bumayong Lutheran Secondary School teaches us to be strong men and women of this Nation. I can honestly say that we are built different. We have had lots of issues and disturbances during our time at school, including fighting among ourselves, but hey, that's our problem, and we are the ones who need to fix it. Despite everything, we never give up. We always serve to the best of our ability.
Congratulations to Bradley Beneng and Muna Getake Gam for their achievement today. You both deserve the best to produce the best.

ELD a Dangerous model
By Carmella Gware
Extractive-led development, or ELD, which PNG has been practicing for the last 20 years, is a dangerous model.
Environmental advocate, Jotham Keleino, highlighted that ELD is in direct contrast to an agrarian economy that our founding fathers envisioned.
Agriculture is the backbone and foundation of PNG’s rural economy, generating income for more than 80 percent of our people.
Extractive-led development, on the other hand, causes environmental degradation, where most of the impacted communities suffer while only a few benefit.
Keleino, who is attached with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of PNG, said: “How did we change? It’s a question of leadership.
“It is time for us at the leadership level to question our development model.
“In the mining sector in general, generation blo mipla especially, when we were born in the 1980s, what we know about mining is that firstly, it gave us a civil war in Bougainville. And after it ended and they started the peace talks, what will run the economy? We know the substitute was Ok Tedi.
“What did Ok Tedi bring? It gave us a dead Fly River. The biggest river in this country is dead.”
Keleino said this is why young Morobeans are calling for intergenerational dialogue with regard to the Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture.
