WHEN WILL WE HAVE OUR TAX CUTS?
Australians are getting tax cut from their government to put more money 💰 into their pockets.
What about our government? I've never seen a PNG government introduce tax cuts.
The problem is that PNG government and its leaders can't think of creative ways to diversify the economy to create more revenue streams to increase its revenue. The easiest way to generate revenue is to increase taxes.
High taxes is killing not only the people but also the economy. No country prosper by increasing taxes.
Is tax cuts on anyone governments policy agendas now and future governments or just continue ripping the the people off their hard earned cash?

Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas thanks prime minister James Marape on his achievement.
*RESPECT IS THE CORNERSTONE FOR OUR UNITED COUNTRY*
Prime Minister James Marape made two humble apperances today on the 3rd anniversary of the passing of late Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare.
In his speech of the ceremony at the UPNG Forum Square, the PM emphasized the need for Papua New Guineans, especially the students who are the future leaders of our country to respect one another which is a cornerstone to unite us a country of 800 plus languages and cultures together in diversity.
A simple example of respect the PM alluded is such as following the line and wait in the que or better still allow our females and older people to get ahead in the que.
After the appearance at UPNG he proceeded to Sir Dadi Toka Stadium and shared a moment of deep respect and honor to our Founding Father with all who attended the ceremony.
PMJM's humility had been exhibited in a profound way tonight and amazingly there was a light shower of blessing on him as soon as he started speaking untill the ceremony ended with just enough rain. What a night! Humble Huli really lives up to his reputation.
You said, "Bring your numbers to the floor," and " I am not afraid of VONC," and also, "I am not afraid of anyone but God."
18 men caused serious panic for the government to resort to all kinds of ways to deter VONC:
1- proposal to amend VONC act.
2- Nit-picking first VONC submission
3- Supreme Court Reference by relatives Hon Pila Niningi and Jema Lawyers McRonald Nale
4- Speaker does not table VONC
5- Forgery accusation with no evidence or specialist report
The speaker did not announce committee's findings on the floor and said to announce at a later date, but that evening, Prime Minster announced the Committee findings which is a clear indication of bias and collusion.
Politics must never interfere with democratic process.
This desperation is a clear indication of sinister intents that sets bad precedence.
*Road between Laokloma and Lama Bridge holds Significance Importance of Porgera Gold Mine*
By Simpson Pit
The road at Laokloma holds immense significance within the broader framework of Papua New Guinea's economic recovery and empowerment objectives, particularly in light of the Prime Minister's decision to reopen the Porgera Gold mine. However, the neglect of crucial road links between Laokloma and Lama Bridge by the Enga Provincial Government (EPG) reveals systemic issues in service distribution across the province. This neglect not only impacts the local population but also vital economic endeavors like the Porgera mining operation and agricultural projects such as the Sirunki Strawberry farm.
The deplorable road conditions impede access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and markets, thereby perpetuating social and economic marginalization within communities along the route. This exacerbates poverty and impedes socio-economic development in the region. Furthermore, these conditions pose significant safety risks to motorists and the general public due to the prevalence of landslides, flooding, and road accidents. Such hazards compromise the safety and security of road users and hamper emergency response efforts during natural disasters or medical emergencies.
Mining projects like the Porgera Gold Mine are pivotal in generating revenue for both provincial and national governments. However, their sustainability is depended upon the reliability of quality infrastructure, including roads, for resource extraction and transportation. Neglecting road infrastructure jeopardizes the long-term viability of such projects, potentially resulting in revenue losses, job cuts, and economic downturns in the region. Moreover, inadequate road infrastructure contributes to environmental degradation, causing soil erosion, sedimentation of water bodies, and habitat fragmentation, thereby affecting local ecosystems and biodiversity and posing regulatory and repu
