This a story about a woman entrepreneur who we met during our previous interview about the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs PNG.
The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs- PNG or AWE program, is a program facilitated by the American Embassy supporting women entrepreneurs around the world and now here in the country.
Bonnie M Naua who is a proud recipient of this program and the owner of Saroni Tailoring, shared with us her passion behind her business and what she has carried through the AWE program and how she as a woman entrepreneur has utilized the knowledge acquired to help others.
Heart of a Woman
In this second part of Janet’s story, a young highlands woman from the Hela Province, she shares and talks about what she wants to accomplish through the work she is doing, encouraging the young ones especially women to further their education in order to empower themselves in their individual lives.

This is part-1 of our 2-part story of a young highlands woman,Janet Thomas, who tells her story about her young self, being pushed out of the formal education system with challenges and struggles but never gave up to today. She continues working on, to promote education and to inspire the younger generation through the work she does.
